The 12 Pack 5/6 Inch LED Can Lights Retrofit Recessed Lighting has been very cost effective way to improve energy utilization and improve the interior look of our home.Installation was very easy with the old housing we have, maybe 5 minutes per light, to remove the old can housing and install this product.Lighting has a selection for color tone to allow change to suite your needs.-D

Looked at all the options as of January 2024. This one from PowerAsia seemed the best and I feel I made the right choice. I did not get the one with the nightlight, since I did not need that. Pros -1. Very simple to install (you can swap one out in 3 minutes). I did 36 of them, no problem. Hardest part is just working overhead on a ladder.2. It has a housing made of aluminum, which looks better than the competitors made entirely of plastic.3. Ideally the aluminum will be better than the plastic ones in diffusing any heat generated from the light.4. The housing was big enough to cover the hole from the old fixture.5. I originally considered one of the competitors which had a flat rim, but was concerned the housing would not lay flat if the existing can was not installed perfectly flush with the ceiling. The PowerAsia housing has a little space in the rim to cover any minor discrepancies, so the lights sat perfectly flat on the ceiling. The spring rods were strong enough to pull the housing up good and tight.6. No problem with the lights using my existing dimmers or a new Lutron dimmer.7. Price was good at about $4.50 per light.The only "negative" I can think of is these lights are bright. But they are 1200 Lumen, so no surprise, especially given the number of cans I have per room. I'll need to use a dimmer to take some of the juice out. The pre-set 2700k level is a comfortable setting for me (warm but not too warm).I have a few extra lights leftover in the box, just in case a few lights don't outlive me. Super easy to install and the switch to change the settings is great. Overall, very nice lighting and happy with the results.

Needed to replace several bulbs in our recessed lights decided to buy this kit and replaced them all. Simple install. Great light.

Have only had them up for a few hours but these 12 lights give a nice nightlight glow to our kitchen. After frustrating myself trying to drill holes through the first few cans, I switched to using metal tape to adhere the brackets and the installations went a lot more quickly. There are four lights on one switch, two on another, and six on a third switch in case that matters to anyone. No flickering at all and all lights (even night light mode) are fully dimmable. May end up putting these in the basement too if they hold up as well as I hope they will.

In looking at some of the longer reviews I feel these lights are getting some unfair comments. First the build quality is very good, I had mine installed by an electrician and he liked them as well. The comment I read about them running hot and possibly melting is not something I experienced. I tested one for an hour before installing it and with a laser thermometer the hottest spot I could find was 118 degrees fahrenheit which is warm to the touch but certainly not hot. I'm not worried that the heat output will be an issue. During the initial installation there was a sync problem but I have six on one circuit, two on another and one on a third. With a few on and offs they all started working correctly and have consistently worked together switching between the main light and the ring. Both the main light and the ring are dimmable which is a nice feature and with my lutron smart dimmer the switch will remember the brightness level and apply it to both options. I don't see any flickering with my smart dimmer switch which was a problem with the LED bulbs I replaced with these lights. The set of six is on a two pole switch and it works fine. The 5-6 model has springs that adjust out with a set screw for my six inch cans. All of them fit fine and locked into place with no issues with them falling down. These lights are a good value for the money.

I wanted to upgrade our old can lights. These were super easy to install. I had 5 total lights to replace which are controlled by a switch and dimmer. Sometimes the night light gets out of sync from the other lights and no matter how long I wait to turn the lights on it always seems to switch to the night light even after the lights have been off for hours. Still happy with the quality of light and ease of installation but wish I would have got the regular kind without the night light.

Very easy to install, look nice and like the halo light option. Also like that you can select the color and get a warmer light. I didn’t use all of them but still cheaper than the big box stores. I don’t currently have dimmer switches but those are next.

Easy to install and gives you multiple brightness options - 2700, 3000, 4000, 5000 and 6000. Packaging and quality are great!
