Wychwood - Carp T-Bar scales MK11, Black, 60 lb

This is the going price for these, dont get me wrong, so nothing to do with the seller. But for what they are, with just a mini light, £30 is quite steep i think. These should be more around the £20 mark to be honest. Also i dont like how they dont turn off automatically when left alone. When rushing around with a fish, wet hands etc, and putting back quickly, thats a sure way to see a dead battery on the following catch. It should also at least warn you clearly when the battery is low as the last thing you want is a dead battery when starting a session. Further, for £30 these should be recharable, with a battery pack these days. Meaning you can freshly charge, maybe take two batteries. Paying £30 for a normal battery, no indicator of how full it is, without auto turn off. £30 is too much. These are 20 years behind.

I've had cheaper weighing scales for fishing prior to these ones and I often questioned the reliability of their accuracy. These are easy to use and I felt the readings were accurate when looking at the fish we were weighing. Cheaper than others on the market but still do what you need them to. For the price, I'm very happy. If I'm being picky, then for a few quid extra, a sturdy, stiff carry case would go with these well as the only thing I worry about, is that they could break while in my bag.

The only potential problem is the battery cover, it's screwed down but is not a water tight fit, it should be! being used outside in all weathers, a piece of Grilla tape covers mine.
