I had an 8" Chumby clock that bit the dust after 11 years. Perfect size, bright and alot of functions that I won't need because I didn't buy it as a dementia clock. Get the 10" version.

Wow! This is the perfect wall clock ever!It has a multiple choice face, where you can choose which color/design you want the clock to have. It even has an analog (quartz moving) face! I chose that as I prefer the look of analog over digital.It gives--in great detail--the day: The time of course, the day, the date, and also the time of day--as in morning, afternoon, evening, etc. I was surprised to see it even mentions pre-dawn! Something I did not know the time of before.You can also adjust the brightness of the clock. Mine is on pretty bright, but it doesn't bother me at all when I sleep.

So easy! So far it’s working great. Adjusted brightness down a bit. Not hard.

I got this clock for my elderly mother who is getting confused with the time of day and is up in the middle of the night thinking it is midday. This clock is so easy to set up, has a nice very large display, and you can change the display to have a different look. This clock has given my mom some clarity because she can look at it and say confidently what time it is. I am ordering a second one for her bedroom.

I have only had this for 2 days but I really like it. The instructions are really easy to follow and the setup is simple. It is really nice that it comes with a remote. That makes it easy to change the settings, otherwise you have to push the buttons on the back of the clock. I got this for my wife because she has trouble reading the small clock from across the room. She says it is very easy to read. I hope it lasts a long time. The only thing I did not like was the delivery. It was delivered to my neighbor's house, and I had to be a porch pirate and go get it.

I bougth this for my nana and she like it. It's easy to read, and bright.

My wife and I currently have three of these clocks in out home. She has problems with orientation as to time. She can always see a clock from any position in her bedroom, the living room and the kitchen/dining room. This helps her to feel better as she is able to orient herself from the time she gets up until she goes to bed. She is also able to take the correct medication for the day and time without asking, although I am present at those times. In turn, she feels more independent and capable.

I bought this for my dad who has dementia as his old one went wrong. He said this one is so much better and bigger! His last one was 7" screen (corner to corner) and this one is 10" and he loves the sun/moon logo on front so he knows whether its day or night time.It comes with a remote but this only adjusts the settings which is handy for setting alarms but not much else as the clock auto starts as soon as plugged in with the correct date day & time so he didnt have to do anything.The remote actually does also have an OK button on it which changes between the 6 different clock faces. The default is a black background with white lettering, the next ones are Red & Yellow lettering and then the 2 white backgrounds with highlighted day & date and then the analog one with second hand (like a normal watch) He has set his to the 5th one which is white background with the DAY highlighted in Red at the top & the date highlighted in Blue at the bottom. This makes the actual day (like TUESDAY) really stand out which he loves as he normally forgets what day it is and he can see this from anywhere in the bedroom.But once set I would guess the remote would not be needed unless changing the alarms so excellent that it comes with the time/day ready set and is not confusing for anyone to use. Just plug in & done!He loved it so much today (Tues 14/05/24) that he asked me to order another one for his living room which will be here tomorrow (Wed 15/05) If you are looking for a dementia clock I would say do not hesitate to buy.

Worth paying the extra to have the bigger screen size and GMT function. Works as soon as plugged in with no need to set. Good options and clear instructions. Great for use in care home.
