I love this aurora projector so much, I wish I had one in every room! It's adorable and has vibrant colors and a wide projection area. The remote works well and the Bluetooth does too, but I don't generally use that feature. I like the timer, because I can set it for a couple hours, as I fall asleep, and it shuts off automatically. Super cute, would be a great gift too, who wouldn't like it!?

The media could not be loaded.  This light projector is great. It has quite a few different settings such as the color, and speed of the nebula, turning the "laser" or green stars, as I think of them, on or off.The base is flimsy and comes off easily and the head is big and heavy so expect it to tip over easily.It has a remote but the remote smelt really bad when I first got it. Like some kind of chemicals. The smell was left on my hands afterwards. I wiped the remote down but it didn't make a difference. I put the remote up for months and to let it air out before using it but I just manage with the buttons on the back anyway.The arms move and the head is magnetic. You can swivel the head to aim it anywhere in the room or even lift the head off the base but it stays connected by wires. This adds fun for kids.Overall good. This is pretty giftable and the box was giftable too.

The media could not be loaded.  This is super cute and nice to have light up your room. The feet just sit on the base and does not lock in place so be careful not to topple it over. Also the head is magnetic and you have to be careful when rotating the head because it can also topple off. The first time I rotated the head it fell off. The arms also move. It would be better if the feet were stuck to the base and the head is fully connected to the body but can rotate, so there’s less risk of these things falling over and breaking.There’s so many warnings on the manual that make it seem not good for kids. Warnings like don’t drop or it’ll break, don’t look at the light or you’ll hurt your eyes, and you can’t have it on longer than 4 hrs or it’ll break so it’ll automatically turn off. It’s nice that it will automatically turn off in 4 hrs so it doesn’t break but it just seems to have too many issues and too delicate for kids. You definitely have to warn your kids of all these things if you put it in their room.The speaker on the device is decent and the Bluetooth is easy to connect to. The remote offers lots of options. You can turn on and off the “nebula” (this actually looks like aurora lights); change the nebula colors (4 different colors can be added or taken away and mix different color combinations); change the nebula’s brightness and speed; turn on and off the stars; and change the modes but I can’t tell what the different modes are. There’s also a timer but 1 hr is the shortest. I wish there was a shorter timer because it does get a little boring after 15 minutes.Overall, I like this toy. It shows a very beautiful display of lights in your room.

This is apparently the latest model (Version 2.0), with various improvements over the original.It's a very cute, good sized (not too big, not too small) astronaut figure with a magnetic helmet/head that can be easily tilted up, down, and sideways. It's a clever, easy-to-use design. I appreciate the design, as it's way better than having a boring box shaped projector. With this, people might not even know it's a projector, and it appears as just some cute decorative figure. It should blend in better with a wide range of decor, and not look like projection equipment.The arms can move up and down, and there's a base pad that is supposed a patch of the moon that he stands on. This is a nice touch and also gives the astronaut more stability.It also comes with a wireless remote control, which I really appreciate, as it's much better to be able to control from your couch or bed, not having to get up to change lighting effects, set a timer, or turn on/off.This new version 2.0 has northern lights effect and 32 color options plus star lights. It's casts a wide projection and gives rooms a wonderous ambience. You set it on one of its timer options, lay in bed and enjoy the effects, then fall asleep, and the unit will turn itself off after the set time has elapsed.There's also a built-in bluetooth 5.0 speaker! Great for when you're in a pinch and want to cast some audio to the device for output!The wireless remote is nice and compact also.I would order again. This one was ordered as a gift and the recipient loves it! I would order again for myself or as a gift and would recommend it to others looking for a multi-purpose, full-featured night light projector for aurora and star effects, especially one that has a remote control and an integrated bluetooth speaker included.It's a good value around its regular price, and an even better value when you can find it on sale with a coupon. My 5-star rating is based largely on value for the price and all of the features you get, plus the construction and design quality.The only thing I wish they would improve upon is to have a color matching remote control (white) and include the 2 x AAA batteries needed for it. But those aren't big deals.

The astronaut lived up to his description! He is easy to set-up and figure out. It was fun to experiment with all of the different effects. They are impressive and cover a pretty large area! The "stars" are especially vibrant! They get lots of oohs and ahs! I have large under-the-sea tapestries covering my classroom walls...I used this to create an underwater effect on the tapestries, and it totally worked. Very cool!!! I love that this little galaxy guy works so well while looking super cool!

My students love it because from my desktop it lights up most of the ceiling in my classroom, but if I try to put it some place, it doesn't work. It only works while its connected to the desktop! My students love it!
