Incedble flavor
Sardines have an incredible sauce that they're packed in that is worthy of shopping up with bread while you're eating the sardines whatever it's true hands are very difficult to open and you should have some other tool or a pair of needle nose pliers to help you peel back the lid great quality incredible taste I'd highly recommend them

Nice find!
My wife and I often split a can of sardines and a sleeve or crackers as a mid afternoon snack. We had been pretty much stickling to the cheap/common brands mostly until I splurged on a selection from a local Portuguese market. The 7 different cans we purchased there varied from $5 to $8 in price. OUCH! Of those cans ( all very good but different) we liked the El Manar Mediterranean Sardines in Olive oil the best. We found the flesh of these med/large sardines being firm and the oil mild /not overpowering. There was also no fishy after taste as many brands have. (Even some of the better ones) The El Manar brand were notably better than what we had been buying for sure! . The only issue was that they were relatively expensive. Then, on a whim, I did a search here on Amazon for the brand and was amazed to find the exact same product at less than 1/2 price AND with next day delivery. I love shopping at Amazon and this is another reason why.

Not bad but nothing special
I had no problem opening mine such as other reviews listed. Yeah it's stiff, but as long as you pull in the right direction there's no problem. Everyone opened just fine. You get 3 big sized fish in the tin. I couldn't even tell they were flavored. Very blame. I wish they were spicy. But I couldn't tell the difference between blain sardines in olive oil from these. Dont know why so many companies market as flavored sardines if you can't even tell it's flavor. If your gonna do it, do it right. Such as King oscar's or Polar brand. Those are the only two brands that I've tried where you can taste the flavor. There's a so called hot pepper in the bottom of tin. I ate the whole thing whole, it they must6 put the mildest pepper they can find in these. Such as shame. But dump some hot sauce all over these & ther not bad for the money. They were pretty fresh, I wish they were in olive oil. Because I believe they use soybean oil. Which always makes a dry fish. Unlike olive oil. There problably trying to save a buck. But for the money it's a bang for the buck. Just now there no cayenne pepper flavor at at. The came in perfect condition. The tin is stiff as hell to open. But besides that I had no issues

Pull Tab
We've opened The first two cans and the pull tab broke on both of them. So we had to use a regular can opener. I found that to be frustrating because the regular can opener you have to play around with it a couple times to get it to go around the can. The sardines were good though. That's why I gave it three stars as opposed to four.

Daily driver sardines
Excellent sardines and priced accordingly. Upon opening, I encountered tightly packed, medium-sized fish, about 5 to a can. The oil was clear with a beautiful color. No scales and the skin had minimal broken areas. The meat was firm, yet easily split down the middle with a little pressure. Flavor of the fish and the olive oil was perfect. I would definitely buy these again for everyday consumption.

Nice Full Tins!
So not really spicy though enjoyable they are. As lower cost sardines go these deserve an A- overall. It really depends on your taste. If you like a little heat these will do.

(Almost) Impossible to open
Sardines are excellent. However, container is almost impossible to open. I have to use a screw driver and pliers to open the can. Sardines are a 10, can is a minus 10.

They are pretty decent!
I didn't know what to expect from this, but they are pretty good. There is definitely a different taste from the sardines that we are accustomed to in the USA (North America) that are imported from Canada. To me, there is more of a smokey flavor, and the taste of the fish is milder and less, "fishy". Although its packaged in olive oil, you cannot taste any olive flavor, but its still good. There also isn't really a salt issue. My only problem is that its a bit overpriced (from the seller that I chose), because the can is a bit smaller than what we're used to, but I would still buy it again.
