I put these in water for a few seconds and drop them in one by one. No mess at all. Even the picky eating fish love them. It is easier to break them after a few seconds in water, that way I can give a treat to my juvenile Angelfish. They smell a little but not as bad as other fish food. I tried other pellets, but always go back to these. Worth the extra money in my opinion. Add a drop of water to each one and then feed your fishy friends. Absolutely no mess if you do this. It cuts down on the gravel vacuum chores.

I feed my fish pretty select fish food brands, and Hikari never disappoints. Feed it to an oscar and he absolutely loves it and really colors up compared to some other types of food I've tried.Very palatable food as well. Pellets are about the size of two tic-tacs laid end to end, and they float well

Great product. Smaller arowanas may not like it because their jaws have a hard time breaking it. But eventually the fish will eat them and love them. If they dont take to them instantly, soak them in tuna juice for a couple secounds and then throw them in.
