Used this lavender to infuse a batch of gin at home and it worked great. It added a nice floral flavor without being overpowering, and even gave the gin a beautiful color. Great quality and exactly what we were looking for.

I purchased this to flavor my rooibos tea. Nowhere in the description does it say that it is bitter orange. The picture of the bag says it is Citrus x auranteum, which, if I had googled it, I guess I would have found out that it was bitter orange, not the sweet orange I was looking for. But since I don't know the botanical name for sweet oranges, I did not think to investigate it. It would be a kindness if the seller would put that into the written information about their product. It is a food item, and therefore not returnable. I guess I can see if my chickens will eat it. This stuff tastes horrible, even with a tablespoon of honey added. Buyer beware.UPDATE: I increased my review from one star to four stars because the seller contacted me and refunded my money, and they said they would amend the product description to indicate that it is bitter orange.

Organic Orange Peel is a must for herbalist who love to blend and create their own tea blends. I add Orange Peel and Cardamom seeds (cracked or ground up) to several of my herbal tea blends to add that citrusy sweet taste without having to add honey or other sweeteners to my tea. I even add it to my basic green tea for added depth and kick. This is a great addition to my herbal tea bar. I just put it in a sealed glass canister I bought on Amazon.
