With this stick to texture wall?

I couldn’t get it to stick anywhere but to it’s self. It was very nice but it kept falling off in places and sticking to its self. Had to throw it away. Even had help getting it up

would this work over a florecent light cover

The background of the stickers White so yeah but you would have to put double-sided tape on a sides of it because it completely came off of my son's wall I bought stickers from Walmart and other stores and they stick way better and last

is there a trick to making it stick

It said to put on slow and carefully but if you're putting it up by yourself it's not gonna happen. I got some clear tags for the corners that won't stick. It Looks good to me
