This item replaced a 10 year old Food Saver Game Saver. It has performed all tasks as advertised. I have used it with gallon bags, quart bags, canisters of various types, and the marinator. Works effortlessly, and holds the vacuum seal, whether it is a bag in the freezer or a canister in the pantry. Great item that definitely extends the shelf life of products. Most impressive is how long it keeps meat protected in the freezer; no freezer burn, no off flavors.Keep it out - I keep mine on top of the microwave - and you'll soon realize you're using it every day.

My FoodSaver FM2015 works great! It get the air out and seals with no problems at all. Even the attachment seals those special bags better than expected. Be sure to freeze fruit and veggies first before sealing them.

I bought this unit of June 2019 it worked ok for about 6 months. Now it will suck the air out BUT it will not keep the bag sealed. I cleaned the part that heats to seal the bag but it still doesn't work. I'll NEVER purchase another one again. Big waste of money for me.

I had a small pistol vacuum sealer for about a year and it worked well but had its limitations. I decided to upgrade to the counter top version and I'm glad I did. Works well with all the pre-cut bags and ones I make. Also bought the Food Saver containers and I love them too. Not wasting leftovers like before. I highly recommend this brand.

Like how dry substances seal. Not too keen about liquidy or juicy ones. Instructions could be clearer.

Was replacing an older V2860 model for which I had lots of accessories. Older model had all the features I wanted - newer one did not (don't like automatic sealing). In their infinite wisdom the FS company just had to change the accessory port fitting connector - this means my older accessory hose would not fit - who knows how they come up with these things, but I sure know why. you have to buy the better/newly-improved model accessory hose. After reading reviews of how the better/newly-improved accessory hose fitting is breaking, I think that I am done with FoodSaver products after this one...

My Daughter said she really loved it, food was fresh as the day she bought it after it was frozen. She is very happy with it.
