Use it dont fish where there's no fish .
I like to fish for bass mainly and this works good where there's no limbs or other cover sticking out of the water I also go for cat fish it works great for cats in lakes and rivers find deep channels And even if there's no fish at the time there probably will be pretty soon I've got bass with it but I've caught several catfish you can find big ones suspended and drift a bait right to them at there depth and bingo the fights on.lol it's fun to use you can look for fish while you are waiting for a bite so it's fun while waiting and you don't want to stay where there's no fish anyway . GOOD LUCKY FISH FINDING .LOL

Quick and easy to use.
Easy to use from the bank of the lake. I was able to set it up easily and get the readings. It's my first one, but I am well pleased with it. The instructions were spot on! I think it is well worth the cost.

Works great and fun
I attached this to a cheap fishing pole to cast to any location or keep it close while I was on a boat and trolled with it; mine is a john boat.Fish alarm and water temp. works great. Displayed fish size and tag for different fish.In shallow waters (less than 4') the depth is not accurate, but it does register the floor and plants, however I haven't figured out exactly what the rough and smooth bottom features mean in the display. For the price you can't beat it, it works and we got on fish because of it!

Leaks and stops working
The wireless sensor leaks. It must be around the two sensors on the bottom. When water gets in, stops working. Can only use for a few casts then have to dry it out for several days.

Best Customer Service
I was gifted one of these for my birthday and loved it right out of the box. Then, after 4 months, the antenna was broken off. I contacted the company to see if they had a replacement. They did, and they sent it to me. I tried it, but it still wouldn’t get signal. I contacted them again. They had me run a few tests and send them pictures and video of the issue. They determined the unit had failed. They proceeded to send me a brand new one. I was thoroughly impressed and grateful for their great customer service throughout. I would definitely recommend their products!

Good Fish Finder
UPDATE This Lucky Fish Finder is awesome, used it today ice fishing for the first time. Went to a good summer spot and drilled a hole and I was in too deep of water for my Pearch target fish and it showed nothing below but the bottom. After drilling 2 more holes I found the weed bed at 16 feet, and it marked fish moving through my hole about 1 foot too 3 off the bottom. I sat up my equipment and started catching fish right away. I can't believe how much detail this sonar has, I Love It. Get one you won't regret it; it is perfect for Ice Fishing.

Seems accurate
The media could not be loaded. Got the unit Saturday - tested it Sunday.Depth seemed quite accurate as I reeled it back to shore. occasionally blipped (i had the alarm on for fish) and showed a fish icon with depth which i am assuming was in inches (I set it for FT not M).if casting you want to use a heavier rod not a light or medium and for safety I would recommend 20lb or higher line. The transducer unit takes a CR2032 and there is an insulating film to remove when you first get it .. there is no off switch so I pulled the battery out when done for the day.I purchased this model rather than the cheaper one with no screen and wifi because I did not want to mess with using my phone and connecting the wifi... that alone was worth the difference. In the video I still have the protective film on the screen .. it is a bit brighter and clearer without it (obviously) and apologies the poor video .. I just got the glasses camera I filmed with and am still getting used to the fact it shoots a bit higher than you see when you when looking down.

works best in calm flat waters.
i used my lucky fish finder on my past fishing trip , i found that it works best when there is no wind, and the water is flat ,i think it worked great, and i will most definitely use it again, what a great addition added to my arsenal., the portability is great, nice and light,

Great little machine
Highly visible, can cast it out on a fishing line. The unit is so easy to use and store. I keep it in the bottom of my tack box. Neat to see what's at the bottom of the dock or boat. Well worth it.

Does not seem to work properly
This unit does not seem to work. It constantly reads 1.3' no matter were you are on the lake. It's the second one purchased too as I thought the first one was broken. I have tried all configurations but it's not performing properly.....
