Hotel Portofino: Season Two

good show with good charaters

Everything is delightful: the hotel itself, the village, the sea, the clothes, etc.Even if some scenes were filmed in Croatia, you feel you are in Italy.The main character, a British lady who is running the hotel, is a great actor. She really has a lot to do to entertain those different people and keep the hotel running to the level they expect from her, especially with a husband who does nothing and the chief of the local police who is a crook and blackmails her.I highly recommend season 1 and season 2.

We watched Season 1 and liked it so much we had to have #2, and it was just as good if not better! Cant wait for #3

Great film looking fforwatrd to the next one

Adore this period drama. The scenes are breath taking with perfect acting. Hope they will make a season Three. Worth spending the money.

It was delievered on time , and its a great series to watch !

Season one was promising for a fun adventure in Portofino with diverse , interesting and funny characters! As the seasons go on it becomes dark , conniving and deceptive! What started off as a nice period drama became too dark to enjoy ! Even the hotel which was once light and airy was painted dark colors !! Disappointing! I hope season 4 is promising and more enjoyable!! Enough of the doom and gloom!!

The scenery is sensational and the storyline is addictive. This is a fantastic show for fans of period dramas.

Desperation had set in as I could not find a copy of season 2 online, after watching season 1 on ITVx. Why is this not available to brits?? I bought the DVD and eagerly awaited delivery…. Understanding that as it was coming from the USA it would be a different region, I don’t own a DVD player anyway so used my MacBook to watch it using the CD ROM addition. Selecting region 1 👌🏼

This DVD would not play on our system as it was not compatible for our region. We live in Surrey, UK and purchased this item from Amazon UK so we expected a UK version to be delivered. The DVD had no regional symbols or markings on it anywhere. Not on the DVD or the case. We have no idea what region we are in and have never has this problem before. Admittedly our system is quite old but we still feel that we have been sold something that doesn’t work on all UK DVD players.
