First of all I'd like to say that I am really disappointed that I couldn't wear this because it is really pretty and (other than the issue I'm about to describe) seems well constructed and good quality...but it off-gasses a really strong chemical smell (I can only assume this is from whatever adhesive was used to construct it). It almost immediately gave me a headache when I opened the package and within a short time the entire room it was in smelled terrible. I tried letting it air out outside for a couple days, which seemed to work until I put them on - as soon as they started to warm to my body temp, the smell was back and I knew if I wore them as planned I'd have a headache all night (not to mention being around other people smelling like that). I don't typically give a lot of credence to negative Amazon reviews (nor do I leave many), but the ones that say this thing stinks to high heaven are absolutely correct. And I am not someone who is particularly sensitive to scents (I love perfumes, incense, candles, etc.). I can only imagine what this would do to someone who is! Again, beautiful product - I just couldn't get past the odor.

These are worth the price, but arrived with a few feathers bent up or missing. I purchased some feathery bits from a local Craft store and used E6k to apply, setting a book on it overnight. Wore them Fri, Sat and Sun while vending and doing demonstrations on the potters wheel at a fairy festival . These were sleek and hugged my frame, which is important when running a sales booth, because in regular wings, I'd be knocking stuff over. The straps aren't my favourite sort, but weren't unlikeable uncomfortable. Easy to wear and store.

Ordered these for a Midsummer Night gala. They fit well on my shoulders and unlike typical fairy wings they fit close to the body. While everyone else's wings were getting caught on chairs, drapes or even each other, I was able to flit about like a fairy would. They looked great. The only drawback was the heavy chemical smell when you take them out of the box. Give yourself a few days to air them out before you wear them.

I was hesitant to buy these as I thought they seemed kind of pricey for what they were, but I was on a tight deadline as I needed a costume put together in 3 days, so I splurged. Can't say I regret the purchase - they looked amazing (got quite a few compliments) and were actually extremely comfortable to walk around with. They come flat and you fold them over your shoulders and mold them to fit how you want (carefully, so as not to damage or pull off the feathers), and strap around your arms with easily adjustable elastic straps. They survived two nights of me running around a very crowded costume event, and I think I only lost about 2 feathers. Still wearable for future use.

I got this for a faery costume I'm working on. The shoulder feathers are great. The whole thing comes in flat but heavily wired inside so you can bend the feathers over your shoulders and curve the wings out more if you like. I took a star off for the quality of the long feathers though. Mine are not straight and pretty like in the picture. They're curves, ratty looking and scrawny! I'm going to have to buy pheasant feathers to supplement this just to get the look in the pictures above.

The wings look great. The feathers are great. I’m only 5ft 2 and about 120lbs. I’m a petite human. The wings don’t fit me as desired because of that. They’re wider set for my small frame so they don’t entirely fit on my shoulder nor lie flat onto my back at their tightest. I wish they fit better on my body but I think they were worth it for my costume

The "wings" have a flexible form so they can be shaped to curl over the shoulders as in the picture although the came flat. Some of the long feathers came looking rather bedraggled and damaged. It's passable for the costume I'm using them for but I feel like they are over priced for the condition they arrived in. I've purchased other feather items from this company which have come in much better shape so this may have just been a bad set.

This product is beautiful; the colors in the wings are stunning. It comes flat so you need to bend it to your body. The shoulders are not as wide as the picture portrays.
