### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great safety thing
*by C***N on September 23, 2026*

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Compact & Powerful Fire Blanket — A Must-Have for Kitchen Safety
*by M***D on November 18, 2025*

I recently purchased this 2-pack of the Lancryen 40″ × 40″ emergency fire blankets, and I’m very impressed. These are made of woven fiberglass fabric and can withstand very high temperatures (up to ~1076°F / ~580°C). What I Loved: • High-Temperature Resistance: The material is super tough — it feels very protective. • Oxygen-Blocking Design: When you pull it out and cover a fire, it smothers the flames effectively by cutting off oxygen. • Versatility: It’s rated for different kinds of fires — kitchen grease fires, small electrical fires, etc. • Reusable & Long-Lasting: Since it’s made of fiberglass and doesn’t burn itself, you can reuse it (assuming it’s still in good shape) — that’s peace of mind. • Compact Storage: Even though it’s 40 x 40 when unfolded, it folds up small enough to store in a kitchen cabinet, under a sink, or in a car emergency kit. Things to Consider / Possible Drawbacks: • Size Is Limited: 40″ × 40″ is decent, but for very large fires or wide-area coverage, it might not be enough. • Needs Quick Use: To be effective, you really need to deploy it quickly. In a panic situation, grabbing and unfolding could take a second (but that’s true of most fire blankets). • Fiberglass Texture: The fabric is somewhat scratchy — feels a little rough, but that’s expected with a fire-resistant material. • Care & Inspection: After using it (or even after storing it for a while), you’ll want to check for any damage or wear. If it gets holes or frays, its effectiveness could be compromised. Use Case / How I Plan to Use It: • I keep one blanket in the kitchen — near the stove but in a spot that’s easy to reach quickly. • The second blanket is stored in my garage / workshop area as part of my fire-safety kit. • I’m also planning to keep one in the trunk of my car — for grilling, camping, or emergency preparedness. Overall: This is a high-quality, reliable fire blanket that’s very well suited for home safety. It’s not a replacement for a fire extinguisher, but for small or contained fires (especially grease or electrical), it’s an essential layer of protection. I highly recommend getting it — especially in the kitchen. Photos / Video Suggestions for Review: • A photo showing the blanket folded and stored • A close-up of the fabric (fiberglass weave) • A shot of it being held open (to show size) • Maybe a short video demonstration (dry run) of how to deploy it — fold to cover, etc.
