I like the compact style and the fact that when you close it up, it holds the bristles in place so you always get a fresh brush when you go to do your makeup! Fits inside of a small purse, if you leave a little extra product on your brush, you can close it up and take it with you for re-application during the day! Remember the product you choose as a foundation will contribute to the result of the brush, I have experienced this working better with cream, foundations and powder foundations or blush, and a more dull experience with applying regular liquid foundation. These two brushes are great! I use them with a new powder foundation and they take the powder without causing any dust like my old brushes did. Applying the foundation by making the brush more compact around my eyes to blur dark circles, and widening the bristles to apply to the rest of my face works so well that I can use less product. They are a bit bigger than I thought, but are easy to use. The coverage I get is great.

Nice retractable makeup brush. Im not a big fan of the shiny orange metal lid, but it’s a nice quality brush and does the job. My dog managed to grab the lid and chew on it a little so now it isn’t so shiny. 😬

Very pleased with the brushes. They are compact; like having them closed to keep brushes in shape and clean. Come in nice colors.

I have had better, but paid BIG dollars for them, the only difference really being the brush being a little more dense and the holder itself being stronger. Don't get me wrong, I would rather buy these again in a a year or whenever I might need to replace them. They work well and are travel friendly.

They are small enough to get the job done, but they break easy when you put them in your purse.

I love the softness of these Kabuki brushes, use them to apply my face powders. For the price I paid, they are very good quality. I would buy this again. Worth the money I spent on them.

What a steal of a deal! I used to use a different brand, and it cost as much for one item as it did for two of these. These are full size brushes with soft and full bristles that are well anchored (no loose bristles and no fall out). You can use one for foundation and the other for cream blush. I love how they are tapered differently so there can be no confusion and no labels are needed to tell them apart. The colour selection is a bonus. I'm ordering more - and perhaps a few extra sets for backups!

I like that they are retractable, and softness is right on par, but the one brush came detached from the bottom therefore I had to try and fix, cause I didn't want to return and have to wait for a replacement, now it doesn't retract.....

if you're looking for an ultra soft brush this will do, but it's far too soft for foundation or for blending
