"VOLTAGE REGULATION" it says in the description, when you try to draw half an amp it DRRRRROPS to 9 volts from 12. and when its idle, it constanlty switches from 12 to 12.2 volts which makes my lights flash a little and its SO annoying. don't buy unless you want terrible voltage and amperage, infact most i could draw was 15 amps.

This 850w PSU is good value at just under £40 and it comes with numerous cables/connectors, so it's very unlikely you will need more than supplied, even if you still have older equipment needing the 4 pin Molex type, that used to be universal.Fitting was easy, as expected, and the fan is very quiet.The only thing that is slightly concerning, is the temperature of the case next to the PSU, which gets almost too hot to touch. It's also very obvious when I walk into the computer room, just how warm it is.It seems to be more effective than a heater and it makes me wonder just how much power is being turned into heat rather than computations.I've only played The Long Dark since I installed it and I don't expect that uses a huge amount of power to run, so it could be very inefficient.
