Dr. Hu was the first master to teach the ninth set of Wild Goose Qigong movements outside of China. This traditionally secret qigong practice is a rare jewel for practitioners. Chest opening aromatic Qigong, is an advanced Qigong in the Wild Goose system. Practicing This Qigong allows you to open up all your meridians, to mix your own Qi with the energy of the heavens and Earth (hun yun Qi), and to start making the coveted "inner elixir." If practice Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, or acupressure you will want to learn this qigong. Two specific techniques make this training possible: Defined movements are used to generate the circulation of Qi to the open chest area, and the olfactory sensation of an aroma, real or imaginary, is used as a catalyst for further quieting and relaxing your mind and body. This allows the Qi to move easily and smoothly inside and outside the body. Practicing the Qigong also has the benefit of immensely increasing sensitivity to Qi, thus improving ones ability to absorb the fresh energy from outside and get rid of dirty Qi.

Excellent
I think Dr. Hu's Wild Goose DVDs are very beneficial if you have the patience to stick with it to learn it. I found it is difficult to follow since the moves are complicated and he is moving to his right as you would be moving to your right and then you have to turn around and of course your back is toward the DVD and you can't see what he is doing so you have to watch it first and then keep trying until you get it. It will get your chi moving and I could see the aura and its colors radiating out of my hands during the program. It is good for you and you just need to keep at it until you perfect each "dance" of the wild goose.

Dr. Hu is clear. SD video was good for viewing & learning.
I looked for Dr. Hu's DVDs, but I guess these days most everything is being digitized and moved for electronic viewing or downloads. Dr. Hu is clear in his explanations and explains as he demonstrates. Mostly he is demonstrating himself, but there are portions with a group. This is obviously filmed awhile ago so the video isn't crystal clear, but the available SD version is perfectly fine for viewing and learning. I didn't bother with the HD version as it's probably run through software which no doubt helps with the video clarity, but again, I didn't feel it would add much in terms of being able to watch Dr. Hu demonstrate the movements. Audio/sound was fine. Dr. Hu does have a bit of Chinese accent, but his English is quite good. There are also subtitles available which is great for the hearing impaired. I enjoyed this video, but novices may not understand what is meant in the Asian/Chinese culture by terms such as "inner elixir". Still, just by practicing this set beginners will still be able to feel whether or not it benefits them. Just a caveat, there is no one size fits all with any qigong, tai chi, etc. practice or teacher so try it out for awhile and it's not for you move on. Video was reasonably priced and a DVD would no doubt cost me a lot more so happy with this digitized version.
