The Aloha Shirt: Spirit of the Islands Hardcover – 28 July 2016

This is a beautifully presented and illustrated book, but it seems to be a collection of snapshots about the Hawaiian shirt and textile industry and the individuals concerned rather a continuous account with real historical or artistic depth. The author has gone to great trouble to research the development of this industry and for me it is a pity he has not presented his findings in a more seamless (!) way

This is a great book even if you are not a particular fan of Hawaiian/Aloha shirts.Fascinating story of their history and beautiful pictures.So much more than just a coffee table book
