Not quite the flavor I expected
It tastes kind of like Birthday Cake (more so smell) but not exactly sure how to describe the taste when mixed in. It's not terrible but not something I'd say hits the nail on the head. The instructions say to mix it with a small amount of hot water first, I found it works perfectly fine directly in hot milk. It's very concentrated and only needs 1 - 2 tsp per serving. I mixed in some simple syrup for sweetener. Again, just not my favorite flavor but I have enjoyed their other flavors quite a bit!

Better than a lot of their other flavors because it actually tastes like something
The first time we tried a Blume Latte product, it was the Blue Lavender (from a different listing) and our biggest problem with that flavor was that...well, there wasn't much flavor at all. But I believe in second chances though, and to be fair to the flavor concept of Blue lavender, it's not supposed to be quite as loud as some of the others Blume makes. So to give Blume a chance at redemption, we figured we'd try one that should absolutely have a nice strong and noticeable flavor and we went with "Birthday Cake".That's one that should definitely have a distinct, bold and sweet flavor - and it does. And the taste is actually pretty spot on, so that's two notable improvements in one try, meaning it's fair to say that Blume can get flavor right when its a very overt one. It's just the more subtle ones they try their hand at that get drowned out.Lesson learned: if you want a Blume product that won't disappoint you on flavor, go for one with a bolder harder to miss taste like Birthday Cake or gingerbread. They get those right.

tastes like dirt
This stuff smells okay, but the flavor is so gross. It tastes like dirt. I think there is something wrong with it.

Pretty and tasty
Great addition to my morning routine when I want a fancy drink but I don’t want a coffee. Tastes as described - like a sweet birthday cake drink. Love the color, makes me feel like a Barbie!I put the mix in with almond coconut in my milk frother (which holds about 7oz) and it’s perfect. Would definitely get more!

Not For Me, Doesn't Taste Like Cake
I tried to like this, but I just couldn't. It doesn't taste like cake, I've tried it the cold milk way, using sweetened almond milk, even adding some sugar and I didn't enjoy it. It wasn't nasty or anything, just not a cake flavor to me. And my mouth felt dry after drinking. I have a little handheld frother so I could mix it fairly well, and there were little remnants at the bottom of my cup. Not a huge deal to me, because I had zero clumps. I also mixed with a splash of hot (they state boiling) water before mixing my milk in.So while it may not be for me, I know we all have different tastes so it might be for others.

Honest Thoughts on Birthday Cake Flavor
Flavor: 3/5Let's cut to the chase. It's not bad, but it's not blowing my mind either. The taste is somewhat reminiscent of birthday cake, but the sweetness is a bit overpowering. If you have a sweet tooth, you might enjoy it, but personally, I found it a tad too much.Mixing and Texture: 4/5Unlike some experiences mentioned in other reviews, I didn't face issues with blending or graininess. It mixed well with both hot and cold beverages, creating a smooth texture. The blending part is a win for those who don't want to deal with clumps.Versatility: 3/5I tried it in various ways—coffee, hot chocolate, and even a protein shake. It worked decently in coffee, but like others, I found it a bit too sweet. In a protein shake, it added a unique flavor, but it didn't stand out as a must-have ingredient.

Adjust your expectations
I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this because it's marketed as "latte powder". When I think of a latte I think of something delicious. Yet this only has 15 calories and 0 g of sugar. I didn't see the ingredients listed anywhere online but I decided to take a flyer on it.I prepared just as instructed, a teaspoon with just a bit of hot water to dissolve and then I added my soymilk and sweetener. I prefer most of my beverages cold and so I did not heat the soy milk. For me it was delicious. That said, it is just a mix of spice powder, nothing magical. If you want it to remain keto you can skip the maple syrup as they suggest. I used xylitol and that would by some standards still be keto. But then when you mix it with milk, it's not keto unless you use a dairy-free plant milk with no sugar because dairy milk and most plant milks have carbs and or are sweetened.Without the sweetener I don't know if I would have been able to drink it.I might try this in some recipes as suggested, and not use all of that as a drink mix.For $25 for 4.4 oz is a bit inflated. None of these spices are $100 a pound. You are paying for the convenience, and if motivated enough could mix something up similar on your own for a fraction of the price. The ingredients are turmeric root powder, cinnamon powder, ginger root powder, cardamom powder, black pepper powder. All are listed as organic.
