Great beginner set
Many years ago, I used to do the office supply shopping for my company at a place called BJ's. One day (around Christmas time), I happened to notice a nicely packaged magic set and it was marked ten dollars. Like a lot of us, I had owned magic sets before and almost without exception they were a disappointment. No matter who released them, it was pretty much the same old tired tricks. But you could tell this new magic kit was something special just looking at the cover. The tricks pictured were on a whole new level. The maker was Fantasma. For the next few years, they came out with a new set every year all with quality magic items, probably $100 worth all for ten bucks. Bought them all.One thing I remember about the old sets is the packaging. There was always a plastic tray inside with depressions to hold the various items. However, they didn't seem to want to stay where they belonged. When you opened the box the next time, everything was scattered around. The Fantasma set includes a clear plastic cover that holds everything just where it should be. This should help make the kits stay in great condition for much longer.This new line from Fantasma shows a lot of thought went into the set. The Marvel Multiverse has gotten insanely popular. It seems like about one out of every two movies released is based on a Marvel character with Spiderman right at the top of the list so this is a smart marketing move by the company. The props are gorgeous and made of quality plastic and the graphics are outstanding. Besides buying this set for a grandchild, I am sure many magicians are going to want this on their magic shelf. In fact, I predict that many of them will buy two sets. One to play with and one to keep pristine as a collector's item.One of the things you get that really impressed me was the Spiderman marked deck. For one thing, anyone who suspects a marked deck will not consider that an option for a deck that is so obviously a tie in. They look nothing like your standard Bicycle decks. Every card has a colorful Marvel graphic. And two gaff cards are included. A blank face and a double-backer.A couple of classic effects are included. They come in most every magic kit but the Marvel graphics adds to it. The Bottle and Rope Suspension (Genii Vase) and Crazy Cube. Both simple. Both foolers.You definitely get your $40.00 worth in this set. The Spidey Phase Through is reminiscent of a Tenyo item. Your instruction book is gaffed to allow a simple book test using any book and my favorite, a small comic book that lets you force a Marvel character using a method from Burling Hull.All in all, this is a good set at a good price. Whether you are buying it for a young relative or just for yourself, you will not find disappointment here. And as an IBM member, the fact that the organization has endorsed this is all I need to know the quality. Roger Dreyer, you and your Fantasma team have hit another one out of the ballpark. A very nice magic kit with lots of tricks and wonderfully themed with Spiderman.
A nice variety of tricks in addition to the Spiderman theme throughout. It will be a big hit when it's unwrapped for Christmas.

Fantastic Marvel Magic Sets
As a long time collector of Magic sets I’m thrilled to add these to my collection. The boxes are well made and display well. The tricks are themed to the Marvel character and well made. The tricks are easy to access and are within the ability of someone new to magic. These will make the perfect gift for that budding magician and/or Marvel fan.

Amazing Amazing Coolest Magic set
Love it as does my 9 year old Granddaughter. The collectible box /book is the highest quality . Great tricks!

Garbage in a box
90% of the box is empty. One of the thumb lights fell apart the instant it was touched, smearing weird liquid all over my kid's hands. It was so poorly made that it couldn't be repaired even with super glue. The key ring is spaced improperly and required modification to be used. The portal frame requires two hands to slide, so it cannot be used for tricks. The instructions are ridiculously wordy and cannot be understood by any kid young enough to think this is fun. Basically you are paying $40 for a deck of cards and a ton of frustration for the whole family. It would be way more fun to crowd around the toilet and flush $40 in one dollar bills, and would last longer. See kids? Look how money is magically gone from your hands, forever!

Fun Set for Kids
I bought this for my grandson for his birthday, he was so excited to see his favorite super hero and is really enjoying learning all the tricks. The secret book has a link for video instructions and they’ve been watching it over and over to perfect the magic. I can’t wait for his next magic show
