Tab A 8.0 T380 Case DWaybox Rugged Heavy Duty Hard Back Case Cover with Kickstand for Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2017 SM-T380/T385 / Samsung Tab A2 S 2017 (Blue)

Was looking for a case for my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2017 and decided on purchasing this one after reviewing several. Price, look, and form factor were the main criteria for my decision. Mainly, I wanted a case that was under $15 without a flip cover and with simple design. The options were a bit lacking, but I like how the DWaybox case doesn't go over the front of the screen. It's very sturdy and the cutouts are precise. That said, I do have a couple complaints. First the power and volume buttons are hard to press. I can only compare to my phone's case, which is a Samsung Galaxy S9, and it does not have this issue at all. In fact, pressing the buttons on my phone feels no different with or without a case. Next, although it fits pretty snugly, you can still see some of the silver from my tablet. Granted, I do have a screen protector on, but I would think you should not be able to see any of the aluminum parts of the tablet at all. Overall, I like that this case protects my tablet and makes it feel more secure to hold, but it definitely has its flaws.Update March 3, 2019It's been a couple weeks since I purchased this product and I'm downgrading my rating from 4 to 2 stars. I thought the buttons would soften up after some use, but they have not and I really don't like that I have to press hard in order to get a response. In fact, I'm ordering a different case that has cutouts for the volume and power buttons.

Have had my tab A T-380 for several weeks and looking forward to not having to baby it against damage once this case arrived. Unfortunately its not gonna work out. It fit in easily enough but was immediately disappointed that there was barely a "lip" on front end that is supposed to stand out above the screen level to cushion impact if dropped faced down. This deprives screen of protection in such accidents. Then I noticed that some of the silver around the edge of the tablet was exposed from under that minimal lip to the point that small parts of the screen are almost flush with the lip edge which makes it even more vulnerable. I removed and reinserted the tablet several times and tried to press it down further to little avail.I thought perhaps I was biased by being used exaggerated oversized lip on the Bobj Gear case on my old tablet but the cases on my wife's and my cell phones are also much deeper than on this case and the entire phone edge are fully inside the cases. Too bad. For the price, it seems an OK case otherwise. Its not cheap if it don't fit or protect properly...

I wasn't happy that the kickstand has only one angle, which is tilted too far back for one position in my opinion. I do like that there isn't a front cover. I didn't try the stylus, but nice that it was included, and would like to try one some time. BTW the return is not free, technically. You have to drive to a UPS store, which is 17 miles away for me in rural Indiana. UPS is at my door 5 days a week and will take pick up's without even calling. Since it allows for a month, it's fine but means I have to wait for when I can hit UPS while I'm on my Walmart run this week! Not the end of the world, but this should be disclosed. I've never come across this previously for "Free Returns".

I bought this to protect my Samsung Galaxy tablet a, and I like it very much. It is not bulky and is easy to hold. It is very much like my previous phone case, which I have found to be very durable. I combined this with a small stand so that I could use it in the portrait position. It fits snugly and the keys do match the positions for the keys. There is no protection for the charging port.this must be used in combination with a screen protector as there is no protection for the screen. It is very lightweight. One advantage is that it is easy to store this in my briefcase or knapsack.

We loved this case, it fits the T380 perfectly... BUT, it is impossible to use the headphone jack and charger with it. We had to remove the case every time in order to charge and/or use the headphones. We kept it with the intention of using it only when we went out, but it quickly started being left behind... and of course, within a few weeks, the tablet cracked and had to be replaced.

Terrible case. Made from hard plastic and for some reason it is embellished with what look like tire tracks(?) and these decorations(?) have many sharp spots. For the life of me I can't comprehend how this case got so many positive reviews. Save yourself some frustration and money and look elsewhere for a quality case.

I did not due much research and just purchased the cheapest case. I though the colored part would be rubber but it isn't. It is all just hard plastic. I would buy this one again. But I also have nit had anything bad happen to the tablet. It goes on easily and off easily ( Not in a bad way) it fits very well. I just dont see it help9ng very nich if the tablet ot dropped

I love this case looks like a car tire it fits perfect and now my tablet wont slip out of my hand i can use my tablet outside now without fear of breaking it i also got a glass protector. These tablets are perfect for video games and video chat i have been playing gta china town wars and road rash outside with my new case on it makes it so much better than before and the kickstand works great i love it i need one for my phone

The case fits around the tablet nicely but the cutout to access the head phone plug is very narrow. It might work with slim plugs but you have to yank the cord to pull it out which isn't good practice. I even tried to file the cutout to make it larger but that didn't work. So I used a knife to chip away at it bit by bit and now the headphone cutout it is larger but doesn't look pretty.

This is probably a good product... I will never know as its too narrow, by about 2cm. I ordered it for a Tab A 8.0 which is what I have I thinkHopefully I can exchange it for one that fits. I'm waiting for a quiet moment to start the return procedure

Perfect for my young kids tablet. It's been on long trips and thrown around. No damage to the tablet and the case if fully intact.

Seemed sturdy. I thought it would also cover the screen but it doesn't. Didn't receive the free stylus/pen as advertised.

Too big cases should fit snug to tablet I feel like if it falls tabler will fall out
