Good finish. Can be used without falling apart and wiped off, if needed.
Took a few tries to understand this map. Different areas of Spain Camino trails are on both sides of the map. Once you locate the areas of interest you can focus on one side or the other. Very nice finish which makes it perfect to travel with and fold and refold. Very detailed in a scale you can actually see smaller villages and sites of interest. Includes location of lodgings, atms, bridges, etc. This map is extremely helpful and the only 1 you will need.

Doesn't show start of Frances camino trail
Great map! Love that it's waterproof. Wanted to display on wall showing my camino trail start to finish but it's missing the starting point (St. Jean) which is in France right across the border of Spain. 2 more inches of map and the whole route would have been complete. So disappointing.

Perfect for hanging in wall
Great quality and size. I’ve hung it on my wall as inspiration for my Camino walk.

Tracking
I was able to track my daughter as she trekked the Camino de Santiago. When she came home she actually could see how far she had walked. We’ve saved it for posterity!

Exceptional Product
For those of us who still value a great hard copy map, the National Geographic products are exceptional. Paper quality is outstanding and after 30 days of use, folding and unfolding, it still looked brand new. The map is easy to read, but also packed with information. We really came to love the one we borrowed from a friend for our trip to Spain and Portugal. As soon as we started planning our next Camino, grabbing this map was our first step.

It was a gift for two friends getting ready to do the the last 100km of the Camino De Santiago walk in June. They were thrilled to have this detailed map. It has the route they will be taking.

I wanted a printed map as a back-up in case of problems with GPS and as an aid for planning trips, since it would offer a bigger picture and allow us to use optional routes and back road. This map almost did that. The problem is that there is a rush of road construction going on in Spain and the map is not sufficiently current. (I checked: it was printed in 2011 although this was not stated online at the time of purchase.)This map would probably work best for countries where roads are not being expanded at such a furious rate. Still, it is well designed and detailed map (very large for that reason and so a bit ungainly when driving), and it did come in handy for planning the overall road trip since cities and landmarks don't move from year to year! I would just look for a more recent printing.

Needed To Go
If you plan on doing the Pilgrimage Walk to Santiago in Spain this map is a must. It’s a bit expensive though.

Great quality
I'm going to be driving in northern Spain in June so needed a good quality map and not some cheep paper that will perish on the folds . SO I've got that with this purchase.

Great
Off to walk the Camino Primitivo, this map is great for seeing the big picture and working out bus routes from the airport as well as getting some idea of the terrain.
