Better than pictured and described. Perfect gift for an X-Army Soldier, Army Civilian, and now leaving (moving) Air Force Civilian.The leather (thick) smells amazing. The quality stitching is top notch. Tags, bag cover, packaging - all present masculine and very classy.It looked larger in the photos, but it is still a good size (size of a medium tote); which is perfect for transporting daily items to and from work or a small overnight bag. Bag will fit perfecting under the front seat in an aircraft.Bag is presented as a going away gift (at a colleague lunch with military and civilians).***Perfect gift ideas:-Adding a leather portfolio folder and luxury inscribed pen - thanking him for his years of service.-Guests can add a small gift or card for inside this beautiful bag.

Excellent leather quality, and I know leather. The construction is very good and it's the perfect size for a gym bag. I've gotten a few compliments and questions on where to find one. I like that it holds it's shape well even when not full, unlike my last leather duffle. Incredible value for $100. P.S. Ditch the shoulder strap. It looks much classier without one.

Didn't expect much but was quite impressed. I've ordered leather travel bags in the past and have learned the hard way the photos don't always jibe with reality. The bag is a bit smaller than a regulation check-in, so consider this is a great personal bag for weekends, etc. If you want to pack it as a carry-on, you may want a slightly larger bag. Not small by any measure, just not maxed out. In any event, the leather is full thickness and feels like a saddle. Stitching appears straight and true with very strong gusseting and handles sewn into straps that run down the entire height of the bag for what should be very strong weight bearing ability. The looks of the leather bears little resemblance to the photos which, in my opinion appear a bit bizarre. There are no crazy lines and patches of color, thank God. The leather simply looks distressed, varying between brown and tan with a dull, dusty oiled leather look. I tried scratching with my fingernail over the attached luggage tag creating a light tan line in the leather. Rubbing it with my finger it was almost gone. Love the ability of the bag to do hard work for years and look great distressed. I'm sending 2 of the bags back to Amazon but will definitely keep this one and a larger carry on. The "fine Italian" bag I was interesting in comparing to this one? Not so fine. The quality of this bag is top notch and it will look great with jeans or khakis. A black suit? Maybe not, if you care about that sort of thing. I've now been through 6 bags and while not the biggest bag I own, it is among the best I've seen for quality and looks. Seems to me this bag will be the last I'll need to buy.

I really like this bag it has this rough, simple, and unsophisticated look to it. Yet it is very stylish and high-class, it is the perfect carry-on size for any airline. You would be surprised how much you can carry inside this bag. The only down side to this bag is that the color bleeds in very humid weather conditions. Do not wear a white t-shirt, wrap this bag around your shoulders and go to some place with 80% humidity. You’ll end up with a camouflage white and brown t-shirt and stained jeans. Other than that it is a good looking bag.
