If recording you can hear tapping sound at high end, but you can cut that out. Good value.

Arrived full of cobwebs, rough surface which needed smoothing before use. Looked damaged through previous use or poor storage. Disappointing.

The sound is good. I got it for a comedy piece I'm doing. I worry that the p[lastic on the top may be flimsy though and may come off when I get over excited on stage. It doesn't feel all that secure and I do have un lady like vice grip hands

this rules!!! my woodsy musician friend saw it and immediately asked if he could buy it off me--hell no, i am super attached to my thunder tube! but i bought him one as well and he LOVES it. the designs are beautiful and unique, the price is awesome. the sound is deep and booming. if you need thunder in your life, this is the place to get it.
