Much cheaper than KitchenAid equivalent but does the job just as well.

I previously bought the QAP Stainless Steel spiral hook for my KitchenAid Professional 600 stand mixer (the one that goes up and down with a traditional mixer bowl shape, NOT the tulip-shaped bowl) and loved it. This QAP Stainless Steel Flat Beater fit also fits my KitchenAid perfectly. I think the fit depends on which KitchenAid model you own and which of the QAP beater paddles you select. You need to select the correct one for your specific KitchenAid model (and it's important to distinguish between regular-shaped and tulip-shaped bowl models).In my regular-shaped bowl, this flat beater goes right to the very bottom (not 1" higher than the bottom, as some here report; my guess is they selected the wrong item instead of what was needed for their specific KitchenAid model) and the paddle beater does not scrape the bottom at all. A perfect fit. Same wonderful 18/8 stainless steel. Seems sturdy, thick, and compatible.It looks a tad bit more narrow than the standard aluminum paddle beater that came with the KitchenAid Professional 600, but that's just a slight perception. Won't know until I've actually used it to mix dough; the difference seems only slight and may or may not matter. Assume NOT if I don't come back here and alter my rating.

Very disappointed, it’s too small and won’t fit our kitchen aid. Not happy.

Great replacement beater! It fits my KitchenAid perfectly, feels durable, and mixes ingredients very well. I especially like the stainless steel design with no coating to worry about. Easy to clean and works exactly as expected. Highly recommend.

These extraordinarily well made all stainless steel, infinitely superior alternative aftermarket upgrade versions of the essential included white enamel coated cast aluminum inverted triangle shaped open center paddle beater that comes standard with the KitchenAid 3.5 Quart Artisan Mini Tilt Head Stand Mixer are far more than worth every single additional penny spent for them. The corrected design to that which has always been endemic to the standard paddle beaters that come with the larger KitchenAid Stand Mixer models (i. e. the additional cast vertical and horizontal bars traversing the middle of the beaters) along with the execution, and quality of material literally puts fully to shame on every level what Whirlpool has officially been manufacturing and including with the Mini since the model’s introduction in 2016.

This beater is sturdy. I bought it because the mixer does not come with one. After researching the KitchenAid brand I realized the plastic coating chips off so I bought this instead. My potatoes whipped wonderfully! My zucchini bread recipe was great! Highly recommend you buy it. Just make sure your bowl is the 3.5 kitchen aid quart one. It’s no good for larger mixers.
