If you have a salt water hot tub then this is a must have
I can adjust the salt to water ratio to 300ppm and be confident that it is correct. No more guessing how much is required or using those worthless test strips! My spa has a pH and Chlorine sensor and display but this tool will help anyway as having an accurate reading for pH really helps in deciding how much to add to the water to get it into balance.

Doesn't work for ORP or Chlorine measurements.
Guess I should have heeded others warnings about this device. The chlorine measurement does not work. It reads "0" when the pool store test says 3.5 ppm and my color test kit shows between 3 and 5 ppm. I followed the directions exactly and the pH was 7.4 (the manufacturer says the device requires between 6.5 and 8). The ORP also does not work. It just starts a slow climb from around 200 to the upper 300s and then shuts off due to timing out. Again, I have two other tests for ORP that show I'm in the desired 650 range for my salt water pool. Sending this one back--waste of my time.

Works great
Takes all the guess work out of comparing colors on a dip strip. Works great right out of the box. Only need to recalibrate every couple months of use.

FAC Problems Resolved
I was having problems getting an FAC reading as I saw in other reviews. First the ph must be in the parameters of 6.5 to 8 I believe. Second the parameters for FAC are 0.1 to 4 so if you are running above 4 ppm this tester won't work for you. Third I found I had to leave it in a vial of water for a few seconds for it to get the reading. I have taken distilled water and actually added chlorine to make sure the tester is working. So far I believe it to be accurate but I double check with strips to be on the safe side.

Chlorine levels not accurate
We have a hot tub and recently switched to a chlorinator system. We needed something to accurately read chlorine levels. Unfortunately this did not work. It reads ph and salt fine but didn't ever pick up our free chlorine level which unfortunately ended up making us dump our water and start over because the chlorine levels were so high. This also takes a long time to read.

It works. Requires some understanding of readings
It works. But can be bit confusing to understand what numbers really mean.PH has to be perfect to get Free chlorine readings.

Worthless waste of money sellers are lying
Not accurate at all compared the chlorine readings to Leslie's pool supply tests and the pen doesn't work at all. Don't spend one penny on this it's a scam by the sellers. They should be ashamed of themselves not having the right amount of chlorine can hurt someone even kill someone I'm returning this piece of crap immediately
