I would guess it’s about 8 - 10 pounds. It is not heavy and does not fall over. The weight is on the bottom so it is strong . This is the second one I have ordered. I would recommend it highly. And it is strong wood not pressed wood.

Q: Will this stay sturdy even with several winter coats on it? The one I have now is extremely wobbly and I want a much sturdier one.

It has stayed sturdy for me. I live in Alaska and on top of that use it to hold motorcycle gear, so it gets pretty heavy coats on it without wobbling.

Q: Is the top supposed to twirl around or did I assemble incorrectly?

You assembled it right. It is supposed to rotate, cool design seeing that everything else out there doesn't.

Q: Is this really going to take a month or more to ship? I will barely even need it then.

mine took less than a week in the U.S.
