To quote Theresa May "It's Strong & Stable"
I needed a small stand to mic up guitar amps and to be honest wasn't expecting much from a stand this cheap (the cheapest I couod find to be honest) but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Construction is very solid, pretty much all metal except the flexible mic holder. Speaking of the mic holder, that flexibility means it should fit almost any dynamic mic. I have a fairly heavy Sennheiser which doesn't fit a lot of smaller holders but it fit nicely and felt very secure, I also liked that I could position the mic where I wanted in order to keep it, and the stand as a whole nicely balanced. The (metal) legs are secured with screws that can be tightened if (when) they come loose. The stand is very stable, the legs have a good wide spread and are completely rigid with nice grippy rubber feet, I have every confidence this stand will last years. It folds up very nice and compact, infact it actually fits in my microphone's box with it!My only criticism is that the screws holding the legs on do come loose in use (almost immediately in fact) and while they are easily replaced if they fall out and get lost the thin square nuts they screw into aren't an item most people will have to hand. Nyloc nuts or a spot of threadlock would have been nice to keep them tight. This isn't a big deal keep a small screwdriver, even just a screwdriver bit, to hand to keep them snug & you'll be fine, or if you're buying it for podcasting or similar and don't need to fold it up between uses just tighten up the screws with the legs in the open position & it will make it even more stable! All in all a great little stand at an amazing price. Highly recommended!

For the money, you can't complain!
Used the stand last night and it worked fine. Not the most sturdy item but perfectly functional and easy to use. Good value for money.
