Simple Mills Organic Frosting, Vanilla - Gluten Free, Vegan, Made with Organic Coconut Oil, 10 Ounce (Pack of 3)

Hello all. If you are interested in trying out this vegan icing/frosting, I say give it a go. Both my husband and I like it very much. I would just recommend adding some vanilla extract to make it silky smooth spreadable. Four thumbs up!

I just made my first batch of Simple Mills vanilla cupcakes with the vanilla frosting. First cupcakes I've been able to eat in over 3 years. The texture of the cupcakes were just like normal flour cupcakes, and after stirring the frosting and letting it sit on the counter for a minute it was soft and easily spreadable. The frosting has a tiny bit of a greasy mouth feel, but it tastes good and creamy. Overall very happy with both products and can't wait to make more of the Simple Mills products I got. There is left over frosting even with putting it on heavy, and it makes delicious sandwich cookies when you put it between two of the crunchy pecan cookies!EDIT: I tried the chocolate frosting too. It was slightly harder to mix, but made 14 chocolate cupcakes with no leftovers. Recommend that, too!

These were tastier than I expected. Very yummy.

It tastes very buttery, but not in a good way. It's like a lingering buttery-tongue. I ended up mixing it with some vanilla and powdered sugar and a pinch of salt to cut down on the faux butter taste.

It’s made with palm shortening, not good and it leaves a layer of something in your mouth. Like you ate pure shortening. Flavor is good but that feeling would not buy again I’ll make my own.

Frosting was received soft but I still added some milk alternative to have a more smooth and spreadable texture. Flavor was on point not too sweet with a coconut taste

Baked a cake tonight and we had the option of the Duncan Hines epic fruity pebbles frosting or the simple mills vanilla. I tried both before adding it to the cake and hands down, the simple mills won! The flavor was amazing and not too sweet. It didn’t have an artificial flavor like you find in most store bought frostings. I will choose this brand from now on. The texture at first was a little weird to spread but it worked out beautifully and became very smooth. Wish I had taken a picture!

I just didn't taste good. Guess I'm used to the bad for you canned frosting !
