Wow
I got this for $9 and it absolutely the best $9 I have spent. It is not a telescope, night vision, or anything else someone might complain about. It is a monocular with several accessories and does a great job for what it was designed for. I got this for when I’m at the range and have been very very pleased.

Good basic monocular that can be used with a phone camera - with a little fiddling
Pros: This was bigger and much nicer than I thought it would be. It's a solid monocular that's easy to focus and delivers clear, bright images. It fits easily in your palm and is a good size for carrying in a backpack. It comes with a case and some other accoutrements, including a small tripod that could be used on a tabletop, and a phone holder...Challenging, but not a dealbreaker: I loved the idea of pairing this with my phone, but it is very fiddly to get the iPhone lens lined up with the monocular opening. The phone is too smart, and shifts to a different lens if it thinks the lens you're trying to use is blocked. Here's what works best: Put the monocular phone holder on your phone and position the round opening over a lens BEFORE putting the phone up to the monocular. I have an iPhone 14 pro with three lenses, and found that lining the monocular holder opening up to the bottom left-hand lens, then checking to make sure the phone's camera had a clear shot before attaching the phone to the monocular, worked best. The 2x lens setting on my phone also seemed to be a sweet spot. See photos I've submitted of foliage at 2x through the phone lens, and a closeup picture of the same foliage shot through the monocular - good bokeh. A hiking pole/monopod would be a great companion for less blurry photos.Bottom line: For the price point, this is a solid, entry-level monocular that's lightweight and easy to tuck in a backpack. With some careful positioning, you can also use it as a de facto telephoto lens for your phone's camera.

Works great with cell phone
Bought this handheld spotting scope to use with my cell phone. Works great. A little hard to initially get focused but I feel all spotting scopes are probably the same. Does a good job with taking photos of the birds at our feeder, which is why I bought it. Didn't expect to work as well as it does for the price. Didn't give a rating for sturdiness since I just got it but seems to be well made.

Very difficult to use and get set up properly
Does this product work -- yes. However, I found it far more effective to use directly with my naked eye (it works pretty well as a monocular scope with moderate zoom ability) than with a phone. As a monocular scope, it is fairly easy to use and to focus and does bring distant items into view sharply. However, when used with a phone to capture photos, it was very difficult to make it work correctly and the photos I took with it were okay but not significantly better than what we could do without the scope.First, it is very hard to get larger phones into the holder. The holder is on a spring that doesn't stay open without manual force. When trying to fit a large phone between the sides of the holder, it is difficult to keep the spring-loaded sides open and get the phone in at the same time. Using a screw mechanism to allow opening and closing of the sides without them snapping shut would have made things much easier. However, once it, the phone is very secure.Once in the holder, you can slide the round part of the phone holder over the eyepiece of the scope to line up the scope and the camera lens. Once everything is lined up, the holder works well to help stabilize for a clear photo. However, it is very difficult to adjust or reposition the phone once attached, and it is hard to pull the attachment off completely without messing up the focus of the scope and having to start all over again. For this reason, I had to be sure everything was perfectly lined up before attaching the phone holder to the scope -- which was an issue for the following reason. What I found is that when the phone has multiple lenses, you have to change to pro mode on the phone so that the phone doesn't automatically switch between the lenses as it tries to focus as you put the scope in place -- a problem I had consistently on multiple tries. If not on pro mode, as you put the scope in place the phone keeps shifting its focus point (including to focus on parts of the scope itself rather than on the view in the scope) and switching lenses -- so the lens you initially planned to use switches off. Once you change to pro mode, you can manually choose the lens the phone is using, and it will stay on that lens. Then you can attach the holder and phone, focus and take the picture. Once you figure this out, it does work fairly well -- you can see some photos that my family and I took using the scope with various phones (the light on the house is without and then with the scope). However, if it isn't lined up correctly to start with, as I mentioned, it is very difficult to make any type of adjustments without removing everything and starting over completely.Because of the hassle of getting everything lined up and working, and the difficulty in making any adjustments once set up, I cannot fully recommend using this unless you are going to be stationary for long periods of time. I worked with this scope over several days, and had my son and husband give it a go as well, all with similar experiences. As a monocular scope without the use of a phone, I would give it high marks. As a scope to help get great photos from a phone, I would not recommend.

Pleasantly Surprised, easy to use, clear view
Pleasantly surprised with the quality of this vs the price. Very easy to use and focus, once you get used to using a monocular. The tripod is a very small, tabletop kind of tripod but it does perform its function. You can also use this on any normal tripod you might have (ie a taller one!)The phone adapter is simple, attaches easily, and holds probably just about any phone on the market right now, it expands nicely, and holds the phone tightly. As you can see from the pictures, using the phone adapter does give you only a partial view, but it is still pretty nice. The photos were taken from my kitchen window with the screen on the window.Overall, easy to use, decent quality, comes with a case, a strap, tripod, and the phone adapter.Nice monocular, Id recommend it to a friend!

A Beginners Monocular with some useful accessories
The monocular comes nicely packaged with a Bag, smartphone connector and tripod stand, the construction is ok, its easy to hold and handle and pretty non slip, easy to carry and light to hold. The zoom isn't going to blow away a serious bird spotter but it is adequate for getting up close and personal with garden species. The clarity isn't the best but at the price point it is not the worst I have used, but if pinpoint clarity is important to you then you may want to pay for a more up market scope. At the price this monocular does the job but is more suitable for beginners and young ones to give them a taster for spotting. For the price you get all you need to get out and about and it does the job, would make a nice present for a younger child to get them into appreciating the wonders of the countryside.

Perfect For Country Walks
The media could not be loaded. This monocular 12 x 50 HD telescope is well made and comes with an an adjustable tripod, with a mobile phone attachment and a bag with neck strap and a handy screw on hand strap. It’s easy to adjust and focus this telescope to see detail for quite a distance and closer. I found fixing my phones camera to the telescope a little fiddly to set up, but it did work quite well once done. I could then take photos and videos through the telescope. I’m genuinely impressed with this monocular telescope, it’s good value and looks well made, I’m therefore happy to recommend it to you too.

Decent quality Monocular
This monocular is a nice kit and comes with a carry case, strap, tripod and phone holder. It has a tripod mount on the base so it can be screwed onto a tripod. The eyepiece can be extended for use without glasses and the focus knob on the top is well damped so accurate focus can be obtained. The image is bright and clear thanks to the 50mm ocular lens and there isn't much fringing around high contrast areas such as trees against a bright sky.The monocular fits nicely in the hand but with a 12x magnification it can be difficult to hold steady so the tripod is a nice addition.
