It's silica. The price was good and the delivery was fast. I bought this to dry out plant specimens for a project I am working on.

Working as expected. Keeps moisture out of gun safe though it doesn’t seem we had moisture to begin with. It was bought for precautionary purposes.

Just recently purchased this product to help with dampness in my personal document safe and gun safe.I gave it a four star assuming it will work, however I can not give the product a realistic evaluation, since I just began using and it will take a little time to know if it works effectively.

Have a small document safe and noticed a musty and damp odor recently. Ordered the silica and it has absorbed the odor and musty smell. My birth certificate never smelled so good, just kidding. This is an excellent product for other than a gun safe and should be advertised as such.
