Fire and Song: Warformed: Stormweaver, Book 2

Long awaited second book in the series. Great, likable characters combined with a compelling story makes for one of my favourite series.

This well crafted and well written book is as good as the first in the series. Great characters that integrate well in the main an sub plots. Enough complications to keep you guessing but not so much as to confuse and obfuscate. A truly great read

Like many who read the first book, I have been eagerly awaiting a sequel. This delivers by every metric. I love the world building, plenty of detail and lots of fleshing out of the main characters. The group Firesong make a fantastic core to the book. Lots of challenges, twists, action and evolution. Setting up nicely for the next instalment. Cannot wait for the next outing into this universe, please make it soon! Very highly recommended.

I could not put this down. I read it over two days. I can not wait for the next in the series.

Excellent continuation of the series, more characters are fleshed out and many of the hints dropped in the first book were confirmed/expanded on. Even after two 1000 page books things are still being built up without feeling rushed or dragged out. Serious foreshadowing of things to come with just enough information to give the reader a taste of what’s to come.That’s not to say that this book doesn’t deliver on its own. The Tournament is extremely well handled and Rei, Aria and Logan all get a lot of focus with Viv also getting a lot of attention. Catcher and Cashe do feel a little sidelined but not by much and they definitely have their moments. Action and CAD abilities shine through and the tertiary characters get some love too (go Lasher). Highly recommend if you liked the first one. Definitely enough to unpack that I wxpect I’ll be re-reading it in short order.

Loving the layers of mystery and the characters progressing through training and hardship. Some aspects feel slightly out of sync especially the romantic relationships but the more complex relationships between the characters are really well layered and presented

This book ended up being as incredible a sequel to Iron Prince as I'd hoped! Impossible to put down and despite my imagination coming up with ideas for a year prior to its release, still contained some wonderful surprises! Very well written and the characters all are very well developed and easy to enjoy or despise respectively!

Amazing world building, really nuanced and beautifully complex relationships and writing. Love it. Honestly the best books in this genre I’ve read to date.

Absolutely fantastic sequel. Plot development, character growth, supporting cast roles, all S-ranked !! The writing style is so fluid, you cant help yourself but continuing to read that next line; the experience is exhilirating and humbling all at once. Thank you, Sir, for the joy I received reading this.Question for the Amazon/Kindle Entity: WHERE IS THE 6TH STAR BUTTON-CLICKY THING? 5 stars is inadequate for this book. (As in, more stars needed, In case that wasn't clear)I read a fair bit. This? THIS is a top 3 for me.PS: this is a sequel. Do yourself a favor, pick up the 1st book (The Iron Prince) so you dont miss out on the story.

Cant wait for book 3. Definelty recommended. The pacing is good, sometimes I felt there is a bit too much of describing surroundings.
