To say the build quality of this thing is cheap would be a grave disservice to the word "cheap." When deciding which product to buy, I avoided getting the cheapest torch head to avoid being dissatisfied by something that probably would have been a better product than this. The plastic side panels fit together poorly. When fully engaged, it feels loose on the propane tank. The worst part is the igniter button. It feels about like a child's tooth that is hours away from falling out. When you loosen the valve to ignite the flame, you better have jiggled and twisted the igniter switch into just the right position to engage the striker. Make sure to test the switch every time you open the valve. Otherwise, you'll be frantically trying to get it into place or tighten the valve before it becomes a fire hazard. The primary way this product malfunctions makes it a safety hazard, and I would highly recommend finding another product.

I like the compact and slenderness of the product. I don't like that the igniter barley works. I have to continually adjust the gas flow and repeatedly hit the igniter like 20x to get this thing to start.

The media could not be loaded.  I have some other propane torch heads I've used. For some reason, those ones seems like I'm trying to part the Red Sea to get them on sometimes. This 'DOMINOX' propane head threaded onto my small 1lb tanks easily without those issues. I noticed the base of it is nicely ergonomic, and shaped to grip easier when threading on too. The igniter works well. You do have to open the valve nearly full to get an ignition, but it's not issue. The tip also didn't discolor on a first use, so it must be made out of something at least a little bit decent.

It's not had to use and starts right away.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a lower priced torch head, and I only use it for lighting my piles of brush and sticks so it serves me fine. Honestly, it took a few clicks to get it to light so I’m not sure how reliable it will be over time. I read that it must be used “top up“ for proper lighting, not in its side or upside down, so I’ll have to remember that. It’s a fair price if it lasts me a year. I’m hopeful.

I bought this torch think I'll be receiving a new product, instead they send an old, dirty, used, non-functional Benzomatic torch. It's just frustrating.

The electric starter doesn't work at all! I have to light with a match or something else. I am quite disappointed in this. I didn't use it for a couple of weeks after having received it so the return window closed, or I would have returned it. My advice - BUY ANOTHER BRAND.

Good productBe aware that for starting you have to open more that half of the gas. It doesn't start at low

Delivery is on time product was not as described it does not work you can't use it for long periods of time nor does it work on an angle doesn't stay lit it's very fussy I wouldn't advise buying it if you're going to do a project I'm very disappointed I have to put off my project and buy another one now

Quick Review:So this works well enough around my campsite to start fires.Features a piezo ignition & adjustable flame.Build quality is about average here.I use it with those disposable propane bottles...fires right up almost every time on the first try.I have another model that has a few more features but this gets the job done.
