I’ve given this a month to try win me around. I usually use water for propagation and rarely soil as I find it takes even longer so was hoping this could save me time. It has not. And I have tried cuttings from several types of plants and even a tree. I have followed instructions to the letter and genuinely noticed no difference to the speed cuttings take to root. I’ve even had several failures. I am doubting whether the rooting hormone is having an effect or if the plants are simply doing their job once the gel has been washed away as results are in no way sped up for me (though the reviews of others say different which is making me doubt myself). The smell is also reminiscent of my baby nephew’s full nappy - maybe I could use something out of that next time and see if it works any better! I’m going to stick at it and hope things improve but my first month using this has made me think spending more time waiting for the water props is worth it, unfortunately.

Great for taking cuttings to propagate.

Difficult to know whether it is better than any other rooting aids, it I can say that most of the cuttings I took late last summer outdoors have rooted well despite the very poor winter.
