I was initially introduced to the weighted blankets by a friend who gifted me one of a different brand of the same size and a weight of 12 lbs. I really liked the gifted blanket that actually cost twice as much as this one, but wanted to try one with more weight. I got this burgundy blanket at 15 lbs., and decided to try the the 20 lb. one in grey (burgundy wasn't available). Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference in the weight when each of them was on my bed. So, I returned the 20 lb. grey one since burgundy matches the color scheme in my bedroom.There are so many things I love about this blanket. The burgundy color is actually burgundy and not red. It is not a dark burgundy, but is definitely burgundy. Although the blanket as a whole is heavy, it doesn't feel heavy when you sleep under it. Although a blanket weight is recommended depending on your weight, the size of the blanket is not considered. For example, an 15 lb. blanket would feel much heavier in a twin size than a queen size as the weight is distributed over a much larger area. Then blanket size is not considered in the recommendations. This blanket does not have any of the "scrunchy" feel or sounds that the more expensive blanket has. This may be due to the 7 layers of padding in this blanket.To sum it up, this blanket is so soft and comfy it will easily replace my comforters for the winter. I should also mention that I recently have been measuring my sleep on Samsung Watch 3 and my sleep scores have much improved since using this blanket. Prior to using this blanket, my sleep score was usually around 49 because I was awake so much of the night from tossing and turning. Since I have using this blanket my sleep scores have been consistently around 70 because I have been waking up much less during the night, and have been getting more deep sleep.UPDATE 05/06/22:Since I tend to be cold at night in the winter, I had been using this blanked primarily in the wintertime for extra warmth. This year, since spring is here, I decided to take this blanket off my bed and use lighter weight blankets for the summer. Boy, was this a mistake!! I had gotten so used to the secure and cuddly feeling provided by this blanket, I couldn't sleep, and I woke up quite a few times in the night. This was also reflected in my watch sleep scores. After a couple of nights with less good sleep, I put the blanket back on my bed. Surprisingly, I didn't get overheated at all, but I was sleeping sound again and my sleep scores immediately increased. After this experience, I will definitely be keeping this blanket on my bed for all seasons.Needless to say, I would highly recommend this blanket. I hope this review was helpful for you and will update this review if my opinion changes.

It's nice and fluffy, warm and it has a great weight that helps me sleep better at night.

I probably own 10+ blankets, some weighted, and this one is now my favorite. It's super soft and cozy. It's good quality, and the color I chose is a really nice rich deep blue. I also like that there is different material on both sides. It might be a bit pricey imho... but on sale it's totally worth it.This is definitely a winter blanket. But I think it's breathable enough to still feel comfortable at room temperature.I highly recommend particularly for those with anxiety. I immediately feel more relaxed under this. Wonderful blanket.

I love this weighted blanket. The weight is just right. The fabric is soft and is a beautiful blanket. Very pleased with this purchase.

The blanket itself - the material, weight, softness - is great! My teenager loves it. My complaint is the color. In the photo, it’s a lavender/pastel lilac/purple. In reality, it’s a bright 1980s purple/magenta color. ☹️ I’m keeping because my daughter still loves it, but feel deceived by the drastic difference in appearance.

This blanket is so soft and warm. It’s definitely heavy though. My partner says it’s kept me from tossing and turning in my sleep though.

I have only used this blanket for a couple of nights now ,i love it. it is super soft and comfortable. the weight is perfectly distributed and feels just like a hug.🩷

I love this blanket. The fabric is soft. I ordered the largest one however it could be a little larger. Also, I ordered the 20 pound. I could’ve gone with a 15 pound. But love love love it. Breathable collar is great, functional great edition to my comfortable bed.

this is my first time using a weighted blanket and I love it. It does feel like I’m lifting weights whenever I readjust them though, but I’ll get used to it I’m sure 💪🏼The blanket is also super soft which I love <3

Bought this for my 16 year old son. He loves it. Keeps him extra warm and cozy at night. AND helps him from moving around too much at night - he really thinks it helps with his sleep. Warm, soft and looks great too.

Bought because family said good things about weighted blankets and I never thought it would actually do anything. This one is warm but I knew that buying it and love it as I'm always cold. Its soft its weighted evenly and 3 nights in im sleeping way better which I never thought would happen and omg do I wake up feeling better and WAY less back pain .
