My daughter loves making bracelets for herself and her friends and likes to play with these flat clay beads. We are on our third set now, but she researched and specifically asked for this set which she was pleased with as it offers some variety of beads and accessory special beads. I don't think the price is too bad at all but I do have to suck a fair few up with the vacuum cleaner as inevitably a few drop to the floor with each "making session" ...I think it's harmless fun and nice to see her not on her phone whilst playing with these beads.

Great. Good value and kept daughter busy for hours

Bought these for my granddaughter - she loved them, they were just what she wanted.

My children have had fun using these beads. There are a lot of them and the range of colours is really good. It comes with necklace/bracelet clips and some earring findings as well as some stretchy clear string to thread the beads onto. It came with a little set of tools - snips, tweezers, two extra long beading needles, a needle threader... In theory you have everything you need to get going.Except any instructions.I found the string really difficult to work with. I don't have a lot of beading experience but am quite crafty and I simply could not get any knots to stay in it. So I found myself trying to watch Youtube videos of clamshell culottes while my children were asking if I could just pleeeeeeeeeeease finish off the end of their necklace so they could wear it. Given that this seems to be marketed at children who aren't necessarily going to be allowed a free hand at Google, the lack of instructions seems to me to really be missing a trick and to make what seems like a "complete set" into a fundamentally incomplete one.It also came with lots of excess packaging. The case is really well-designed and closes firmly and did not need the extra plastic wrap around it. And then there were extra packs of beads wrapped in plastic inside the case which didn't have an allocated slot. Where to put them? So frustrating! They have ended up all mixed together where the string ought to be and now I have lots of tiny little plastic bags to throw away. Much better to have had a paper sleeve with some instructions to keep on it.This is a great set for experienced beaders, but not a children's craft kit. And yet at the same time, the quality of the beads (though great for a children's kit) is not at all premium quality that an experienced adult would want.

My 11 year old is made up with the variety of colours and tools.It does come with sharp scissor snips to be aware of for younger children. Other tools include tweezers & needle threader.Brilliant value for money and a fun activity for all ages.
