The only negative thing I can say about this is the container that holds it on your belt wears out too quickly. Now as far as the stick itself, it is awesome. Between the noise that it makes and the shock that it sends.The sad part is the reason I have this. I'm a dog owner and I have two labs that I take for a walk, and they are powerful.We have a lot of homeless people that go to the parks in this area. They don't keep their dogs on leash. And a lot of these dogs will run up and attack your dog. So rather than take my dog to the vet to get stitches put in after a fight I can just aim this at the dog and usually at least so far they've all turned and run. The sad part is, it scares my own dog when they hear the zap. But at least no one gets hurt this way. It is annoying that I have to do this because irresponsible people don't have their dogs on leash when they're in the park. But with this, no one gets hurt.

This item is cheaply made with some type of weak plastic material. I was checking the charge on the item and I accidentally dropped it from about waist height the casing cracked and now the only thing that works is the stupid alarm. The flashlight and Taser no longer work. Just imagine if you were in a tussle with an attacker and it got knocked out of your hand and hit the ground. If you happen to be able to get it back in hand and deploy the Taser function and because of the relatively light fall, it doesn't work..... Well that could be a very bad situation. I would not purchase this item again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. Buyer beware of this cheaply made, so called self defense tool!

I do security and with all the moving and physical things i get involved in the case for the product ripped and is not durrable

This is not a club. This is great for what I use it for. Would buy again.

Decent and easy to use but I dropped it and it is starting to skip when using it. Just gotta push the button a few times before it activities.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.The lanyard broke within 3 minutes first time i used it. The belt loop on the sheath (one of the reasons I chose this one) broken second time I used it. And the switch to zap broke in a week.

I only tester it once in the air, but the arch seemed impressive. The only problem I have with it is the carry strap, or loop, whatever it's called. It just plugs into it exactly like head phones. It fell off moments after I put it on my wrist. It cannot support the weight of the tazer. So forget that. The flashlight portion isn't very powerful but that's not why I purchased this item anyway. For the price I am satisfied. It isn't very expensive in comparison to others like it.

I don't see 5aaa batteries producing 1.8uC charge!
