BRIGHT light
5000 lumens is an incredibly bright light from a compact flashlight. I use this flashlight when I am working around the "theater lights" at my church. Even when the floodlights are illuminated the 5000 lumens flashlight is able to allow me to read the numbers on the lighting rack by zooming in the lens for a narrow spotlight effect. I have 2 minor complaints about this product. The rechargeable battery seems to lose its power rather quickly. In 90 minutes the charge is down to about 30% so I would be rather concerned if I was using this outdoors at night and depending on it to last a long time. There are 3 brightness levels, but I still doubt it would get you through a full night out in the wilderness. Secondly, the lamphouse section of the flashlight gets quite warm, maybe even hot, but that's the side-effect of such a very bright LED lamp. A feature I really like is that the flashlight includes a battery holder for 4 pieces of AAA sized alkaline batteries, so if you're out in the wild, this would help you get through the night. Overally I'm really impressed with the light and look forward to continued use.

You probably won't believe me
Ok so I messed up the insides of this and wanted to just break it because I'm a man child. I can confirm this will survive being thrown down as hard as I can onto concrete and being ran over with a 7000 pound forklift, like the rear tire went over this and it did not break. The glass did not break and the lense could still adjust after being ran over twice.

Terible
First off, this IS NOT 10000 lumens. the rating you see is a complete lie. the led is not even a real cree XHP50. even if it was, the cree XHP50 is not capable of producing 10000 lumens. Again, false advertising. it is not even water proof and the fit and finish is terrible. Just the other day i was noticing the lens was fogging up so i unscrewed the lens and the led was smoking. It just burnt out after a few minutes. it would not be so bad if the company would be honest about there product but they continually lie about it. I cant really complain because you get what you pay for, cheap junk. but do yourself a favor and get an olight. if you want an EDC light get one of there baton series. or if you want a really bring yet small light get one of the seeker lights. don't get scammed by these cheap imitations. get one from a company who stands behind there product.

Worthwhile tactile light for beefy hands.
Idealy when one thinks of a tactile light one would think that it would have some heat dissapation fins for cooling enough length to keep your hands from the hot spots and a big led cob and a powerful adjustable lens to control those lumens and a huge ginormous 26650 battery to drive all that energy out to where its needed well that is certainly one reason i snagged this tactile black beauty, the upper and lower halfs completely unscrew and separate as does the bottom end cap. The battery indicator bright bluish lights near the on/off buttons are hard on my eyes and am not really quite sure just how accurate they really are but i guess i can deal with it. Battery consumption is fairly reasonable considering the overall output intensity, Not sure how this would fair if it was dropped from waist height never tried it knock on wood, Can be charged by usb however i just use a separate charger, suites me well. Weight overall feels good, a good beefy feel, feel fine inside of a average hand. The button easy to push without glove with glove not so easy.
