Q: I am 5’5” and weigh 125-130 ... should i order small or medium? tia

I'm 5'2", weigh 130-140 and I find a medium to be comfortable. But I don't like my leggings to fit super tight, if you do I'm guessing you'd want the small.

Q: I am a medium in US pants, but according to the size chart i’m over a 2x? My waist is 37in.

Go by the sizing chart. Just because you are a size in one style does NOT mean you'll be that SAME SIZE in another style. Since they are very stretchy, you could potentially get a 1X.

Q: How wide is the actual elastic in the waistband? Is it as wide as the waistband?

The actual waist band inside is about 1/2 inch and is at the very top of the pants. Under that is a 4 inch tummy control area then hip and butt area. I like my yoga pant kind of tight. I normally wear a x-large (1x) and I bought large size and they fit perfect and are comfortable.
