I just needed something that would record good enough to pick up sound from across the room but I was surprised when I saw how high quality this recorder is. It feels durable and picks up all sound in the room very clearly.I was also surprised and the added components such as the earphones and clip microphone. I didnt even notice those were included as I was just searching for a good recorder. Even the packaging is solid. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone who want to record meetings either publicly or stealth. Its pretty straight foward easy use makes it very convienant if you want a recording to be discreet. Only thing if you wish to be duscreet is you can hear a clicking noise when pressing play so it would need set up in advance. Cant wait to explore what else it offers as I only just started testing it out.

Really impressed with this buy, comes with a small microphone, a set of plug in ear buds. The device is well made, easy to use, small & compact. Well worth the money

The recordings are great, with or without the included microphone. Two BIG problems that make it hard to use: (1) starting a recording and (2) way too easy to accidentally delete the wrong recorded file with no undo ability. (I had to buy pricey recovery software to resurrect key files that I mistakenly deleted.)It’s not intuitive how to begin, end, or play back recordings. It takes about **5 seconds** from “off” to “recording”: slide an off-on switch, then 3-4 various button presses to begin recording. It’s also way too easy to forget to stop it from recording because the red light blinks very slowly.Pluses: it’s tiny (easily fits in my small hand), solid state internal and removable/exchangeable SD cards, recordings are very clear, and it’s probably a pretty good buy all-around for the price. Just memorizing the recording steps and having the time to do them is slow and fussy.I wish the difficulty of starting a recording was MUCH faster and simpler, and that I didn’t need a magnifier to read the micro type-sized instructions, which could use improvement, too.
