Just bought the blackstone and used several times and first time to use lids to melt cheese on burgers. Def recommend using.

Use these last night for the first time. Honestly, I believe this is the perfect size not too big not too small great quality easy to put together. Cleans up really nicely. Does what they’re supposed to do.

So, I actually found metal handles to put on these lids, as I sometimes like to use it on the grill, or in the oven to help direct heat to one specific area. I'm not sure the heat rating of the plastic ones that came with it, but I didn't want to risk melting them.Other than that one, specific to me modification, they're exactly what you would want out of a melting lid. They're constructed very well, and have no sharp edges. The handles they came with are also comfortable, if you chose to use them, you would be happy.They aren't THAT tall either, which is not a deal breaker for me, I sort of knew what I was getting, but understand they're not big domes, and if you want that, you may want to look elsewhere. Also some of the other reviews said the stock handles were short, I could see that, and finger burning risk is high, but again, a quick hardware store trip, and I found tall metal handles and "fixed" them right up.I did take away a star, because, although the metal handles are not necessary, and again, are specific to my needs/wants, I think they could ship these with metal handles to really guarantee all the range of uses someone might want. "Cover all the bases" sort of idea, if they had metal handles, I would have zero "complaints".(If you plan the same modification as me, I recommend stainless screws for your handles.

i ordered this SS cover 4 my electric stove top potable grill. it works great. it keeps the heat enclosed at the grill. it speeds up the cooking on the grill. works great on tuna steaks.

Nice overs fits over rice and eggs Great and is light weight. Ther cover handles did not gt hot either.
