Q: Does anyone else hear sibilance (hissing sss sound in speech) and too bright/rough treble? I'm trying to decide if my unit's faulty. Thanks.

Sibilance is natural but is more likely to be accentuated with highly compressed audio signals, as is the case with a lot of DAB broadcasts. BBC Radio3 is the highest quality DAB channel at 192kbps. Check this out, on DAB and FM, and if you still find sibilance an issue, check you haven't boosted treble output in the equaliser settings. Most purposes should be fine with a 0 or +1 setting.

Q: Can you pause and rewind radio?

No. Not if you are using DAB or FM. If you are using the Super Signal as a Bluetooth speaker for playing internet radio from a smartphone or tablet then yes.

Q: How many preset stations can you store?

You can store up to 8 presets for DAB stations and 8 for FM stations. Preset 1 to 5 will be directly available via preset buttons on the unit while preset 6 to 8 can be selected via the menu or via the the remote control.

Q: I received my super signal today but can't find the menu to adjust bass/treble. I am blind so can anyone tell me how many clicks to the right it is f

After pressing the menu button, it is 6 clicks to the right. press select . Press select again and click right to increase treble or left to decrease. The sound will not change until you press select once more. Then click right again to select bass. press select. click right or left to adjust. press select to hear the result. These actions will need to follow each other with less than a few seconds pause, otherwise the radio will revert to the playing mode and you will have to start the sequence over again. Any adjustments followed by pressing select should have been saved though.
