Continuum: Season 4

Totally crackin’ series; thoroughly enjoyed it and I’m sure to re-watch it all over again at some point. Great story, well told and well acted. If you like sci-fi with lots of action and twists and turns as well as feeling relevant to our times, this is well worth a watch.I’ve just watched the last episode of “Continuum” and I’m feeling very contented that, despite budget constraints, they’ve managed to finish the series with a satisfying sense of completion. In these days when those holding the purse strings often decide that they’re not making a big enough mountain of loot out of a show - and cancel it, leaving the fans (and Eli, in the case of “SG Universe”) dangling in the void, it’s refreshing to see a good series actually get to a well thought out climax and finish with people getting, pretty much, what they deserve.I posted a review after season 2 and one thing I’d like to reiterate from that is the topicality of this show in that we find ourselves living in a time where Big Business is trying to control all our lives purely in the interest of making money at the sacrifice of ordinary people and, what’s worse, to the destruction of our environment - and governments are selling out to them to fill their own pockets, despite the obvious stupidity of sawing-off-the-branch-you’re-sitting-on - and not enough is being done to stop this future apocalyptic nightmare.Continuum is, of course, fiction; we don’t have “Protector Kiera” and a handy time machine and no-one is coming back from the future to save us: we’ll just have to do that ourselves.

This item arrived well ahead of schedule, & is in pristine condition, exactly as described by the seller. It also works perfectly well in my MULTI REGION dvd player 👌. Top marks 👍👍🙂

I love dealing with RAREWAVES, a fast and reliable service for NTSC DVDs to be sent to the UK. Continuum was a great series, but unfortunately cut a bit short in this fourth season. At least, whatever happened when it was cancelled, they were allowed to finish with some sort of resolution. We enjoyed the ride and the high quality, cinematic approach to the filming, whilst retaining the core ability of a TV series to explore the plot more thoroughly.

Fantastic series. Such a shame it got cancelled, but it did get the ending that it deserved. This blu ray is region free. I'm a UK viewer and had no problems with these discs.

A finish that does justice to the story and right up to the last scene there are surprises! Even in the last minute....... How good is that?

I can confirm that this Blu-ray import is actually region free not region A as listed. It worked fine on my UK Samsung player. At just 6 episodes this is quite expensive and I'm also surprised how much advertising there is on US TV series discs. I'm halfway through the season now, just hoping the series cancellation does force a rapid mangled ending.
