I needed to mount an indoor camera (2nd gen) on the interior frame of a west-facing window. No view from that end of the house and didn't want to mess with an outdoor camera. This is exactly the simple-to-install mount I needed. Used a single screw to attach to the window frame and popped-in the camera, and aimed it. Tight fit but it does the trick. BTW, no adhesive mounting would survive Florida afternoon sun. Anyway, voila - now I can see if the garbage has been picked up.

It fits the camera base perfectly fine. No need to move the base of the camera. It comes with 3M tape and screws. The base has its own hole in case you want to use the screw. Personally I used the screw as the tape, even thought is 3M (which is really strong) depending on the surface it may come out. The screws that comes with it are not very long, but they get the job done. However you can consider to find a screw that is a little bit longer depending on your need.

Lost the original backing to my indoor ring camera but this alternative works just as good. I love the options to either hang using a screw or the adhesive! Does come with the necessary hardware to screw securely to the wall or a wipe to clean the area if using the adhesive backing.I used the adhesive backing and it holds strong!Definitely recommend this as an alternative to the original

I made sure this mount would fit the model of Ring camera that I have. It was for mounting in an inside porch high above a doorway. The product is pretty straightforward and simple to use. But the one drawback was trying to get that darn mount and the camera base to click. I eventually mounted this using the screw to some vinyl siding and the camera base was half way out of the mount. Good enough to hold but we'll see if it holds up over time?

Did not fit 1 gen stick up cam

I read some of the reviews and I’m not sure what happened with those products but there were 2 in the box and mine fits my device well, it was easy to stick to my wall & I did placw it in the holder before I exposed the tape— just to make sure it would fit. I didn’t clean the wall off first, but hopefully it will be fine. So far, so good.

It does hold the base of my ring camera but it is a VERY loose fit. It lets the camera slide and rotate so don't expect it to stay in one place too well.
