My TV Remote turns it off and on!
Taking into account the price, this is good. It lights up the back of the tv with various colours. When you install it, be aware that the receiver part needs to be placed in such a way that the remote can operate it properly. I fitted mine in such a way that i need to stand up and set the colour or brightness as it wont work from my sofa. That is not a criticism as i could have fit it better but hardly a concern. Amusing consequence though was my LG TV remote triggers various modes of the LED's. Down volume turns them off and up volume on! Turned out useful as it happens but not sure why the TV remote works from the sofa but the proper little remote doesn't. Maybe the TV remote is more powerful. Anyway, the LED strip is only a few pound so treat yourself to the novelty factor. Oh, and lastly, if you can power it via your TV USB, all the better as it goes on/off with the TV power.

works great and is very bright but you can turn the brightness down, few pics I've uploaded but there are more colours than that, got strobe mode which is fun and flash which goes threw every colour "flashing"
