Bad product
I bought it as I was so impressed with their coconut whey which is the best protein iv ever bought in terms of flavour and mixing, however this protein although tastes very nice mixes poorly, I firtly tried it with milk and it turned into what can only be described as ice cream, then when I mixed with water it still was too thick. Coming in at 35 pound per 450g it's not worth your money. Trash

Davina McCall's protein!
Thankfully, Davina McCall is the marketing face of this product, not the source of its protein. The protein is one of those that comes from milk. Casein, rather than whey. Whey protein is processed by the body quickly, making it ideal for post exercise recovery. Casein protein, on the other hand, becomes curd in the stomach and is digested much more slowly, making it more suited to keeping appetite satisfied for longer, so more useful for weight loss than whey, it that happens to be your goal. It is also less likely to cause bloating and wind than whey, due to the slower absorption rate.In addition to the casein protein, this shake also contains a range of vitamins and something referred to as adaptogen ashwangandha, which apparently helps to keep the mind calm. Word to the wise, though, high protein foods tend to promote calm feelings anyway, so maybe treat the additional non protein ingredient as a lifestyle vibe thing rather than vital.I suggest making this in a blender rather than mixing using a hand shaker bottle. The powder is very fine until it is wet, and immediately forms clumps and lumps that are unpleasant to have in your mouth. Mixed in a blender, the consistency is smooth. The honey and spice flavour I have tried tasted more like sweet oats to me, but it tastes nice enough. There are a number of flavour options available. Truthfully, the price is a little higher than for other protein supplements but if casein protein is most suitable for your needs this is not terribly expensive.

Davina is recommending this Protein and Relax from Foodspring
I trust Davina she knows what she is talking about. So I thought I'd give this protein shake a try, the flavour is Honey and Spices and it is delicious. It is high in protein and vitamins and also has ashwagandha for the relief of stress, which is what attracted me, middle aged and stuck in the middle of teens and oldies! It is very easy to mix, although I used a pudding spoon rather than a table spoon to measure and added a bit more water. I've been having it after my power walk and it feels like a little treat, but one that's doing me good. It is much nicer than other protein shakes I've tried. Thank you Davina and Foodspring.

Taste is fine, price you can be the judge
Works out around the £1.85 mark per serving. It's 480g and you need 30g per serve. It has a bit of a banana watery shake taste to it, but backed up with, to me at least, a turmeric, ginger, honey back story. Check the ingredients list to see if you fancy it. It's definately easy to make. I used my mini blender rather than a shaker: 250 of water and the 30g powder, a quick blast and done. Comes out mildy lemon colour. I might try it with milk next time to get more of a shake mouth feel. I'd recommend it if you fancy the incredients and the price. If not, then keep looking. Personally, I'd prefer to add my own ingredients.

Tastes wonderful, but a bit fiddly to make!
Tastes wonderful, but a bit fiddly to make. After some experimenting, I use a stick blender to mix with milk, and then microwave on 600 for two minutes.Excellent bed time drink and way of getting extra protein into the diet.

Blends well, taste could improve
Integrating this protein shake into my daily routine has been less intrusive than I expected. The shake mixes well and doesn't leave behind any bothersome clumps. However, it's the taste that's not entirely to my liking. There is a noticeable difference in my recovery after physical activities, and it didn't upset my stomach. Although it claims to be a stress-reliever, I haven't noticed any significant impact in that department.
