I Love this... But.....
I love this because it looks cool and retro and the price is amazing. I chose this also because I knew spare parts were easy to get. It does look amazing and works really well!!But... The sound quality is bad, soooo bad.Luckily I have amazing speakers with base and treble adjusters... So I turned the bass right up and turned the treble down and it sounds amazing!!!So get this if you have good speakers... Otherwise you will be really sad.

Great as a starter turntable.
Brilliant little product. A bit flimsy but looks great and works well. Sound quality is excellent from built in speakers and can be expanded upon with external speakers. Great as a starter turntable.

awful
The sound it produces is just terrible. Please avoid it and buy something better than this piece of plastic. 1 star

I was pleased with the tone and it played my old L.P's really well, however it would not play 45's at the correct speed. Very disappointing.

Having recently purchased a similar Steepletone turntable for our daughter's Christmas present which we were very satisfied with we decided to buy one for ourselves and were delighted to find this model on special offer for the same price that we had paid for hers but with the added features of the option to plug in speakers and a headphone socket at the front.

It plays records, but doesn't offer good sound.
It plays records, that's something at least. It seems to skip quite a lot, whether playing old LPs or new ones fresh out of the packaging and properly dusted beforehand. I thought it could be the needle so I bought a replacement and it made no difference. The internal speakers are OK, but if you're looking for any decent sound quality then having the RCA output is useful, but plugging something into the RCA doesn't disable the internal speakers, so you've either got to put up with two speakers playing the same things but out of sync, or take your audio from the 3.5mm jack on the front, which offers a noticeably lower quality. Either way, the sound is tinny and lacks bass.
