Fun to watch your tea leaves plump up!
I'm always looking for new tea infusers. I guess looking for the perfect one. This is an interesting infuser. It works. In a light colored or glass mug you can watch the tea leaves plump up nicely as your tea brews. And the tea brews but I found myself having to swirl the infuser around to get the tea brewed correctly. The glass part can go right into the dishwasher. It's the borosilicate glass so it's pretty tough.Things that weren't so good - Because you are putting glass into boiling or near boiling water - it gets hot! You can pick it up by the cork top but that gets a little slippery and can pop out of the tube, so use some care there. It's not easy to load because of the tube shape and relatively narrow opening. But for doing a quick cup of tea, it's nice. Just be careful in handling the hot diffuser. It does the job, I'm just not sure that it's an improvement on my open topped fine mesh metal diffuser. It's like 3.5, so I'm going to give it 4 stars since it does what it is supposed to do and there are not any dealbreakers.

Fun and unique tea diffusers
LeavesI've always loved tea gadgets and couldn't pass these up because they are so different. Water goes through the cuts in the glass for the diffusing process. I kind of wish they had flat bottoms instead of rounded. They'd still be able to rest in a teacup the same way, but you wouldn't have to worry about it rolling away on you when not in the cup. I first tried it with green tea, which is a finer loose tea, so as you can see in my pic, a lot of tea escaped during steeping. However, it wasn't quite as bad as I expected when I drank it. I do think it would be better with a bigger leaf tea. The price is certainly nice! They arrived quickly, but aren't packaged pretty if using as a gift. Still, I would be happy to receive these as a gift myself.

Nice infuser
My husband is an awesome cook and likes to be inventive in the kitchen.I saw these infusers and immediately thought of him. That's a nice infuser for herbs and seasoning and he really liked the idea. We'll use it for soups, broths, and some other recipes.Since it is heat-resistant , I'll probably wash it in the dishwasher, but I'll place it on the top level just to make sure it's not gonna break. I'll wash the cork by hand though. They actually seem sturdy, but one of them came broken.I'm reviewing the [Tea Infuser for Loose Tea, 2 Pcs Glass Strainers for Long Leaf Tea, Reusable Glass Diffuser with Cork, Large Loose Tea Steeper Filter for Cup].

Neat in appearance not so neat in execution
For tea geeks like me, its is a must have, because they are not only a neat tea item, they are a bit sciency too. so I had to have them. But they are much cooler to look at than they are to use.1. be sure you have something to poke the tea down to the bottom, or you can blow into it to push the tea down (not a good idea if you are making tea for someone else)2. they can get super hot! not as easy to take out of high temp teas when steeping is done.3. they are hard to clean if you let the tea sit and it dries out. Be sure to clean/rinse them while the tea is still hot.Enjoy though, for what they are they really are well made.

Clever
I’m fond of the glass diffuser — glass doesn’t distort the taste where nylon/metal can interact with the tea while diffusing. These are a great size for carrying around in a purse/bag to have the preferred tea of your choice always at hand. I’m a fan.

Versatile➖ Easy To Clean➖ Works Great!
These arrived in a tamper evident outer plastic wrap, which enclosed a sturdy cardboard box with the diffusers inside well wrapped with bubble wrap. These are sort of like fat cigar holders with hortizonal slits toward the bottom to allow the hot water to wash thru the tea to diffuse it into the main cup.I tried one of these & it definitely doesn’t disappoint. It’s relatively easy to put loose tea into (maybe a little funnel would be helpful or a narrow spoon), the tea diffuses easily, then it’s easy to dispose of the used tea & clean up.This might just be my method of choice for a cup involving loose tea from now on!
