Metra 95-3303B Double DIN Dash Kit (Black) and AXXES Axxess ASWC-1 Steering Wheel Control Interface

Coming from a factory deck to this Double Din stereo is something I wish I would've done long ago. Although I haven't quite learned all the features of this stereo...I must admit that I'm pleased with it!!..All the features and the nice vibrant colors to choose from. I have a G6 & my gadgets and everything are red...so being able to change the color was a plus!..Truly happy with it!!

No issues really, wittier perfectly for my 2005 G6

Only way to keep DIC and install DD head in my g6. Would like see longer leads that are not preterminated for more install options without splicing. My choice of locations was out of reach with what's there and had I spliced I don't think I could have hidden the wires as I wanted. It does what it says which is cool only a one line display. Buttons can be a bit unresponsive at times but I've found brute force is not the answer. Wait a second and try again. That is kind of a pain. All around it does what it is supposed to. Those have been my only issues.

There are good and bad features to this product. It does help retain the needed driver information center when replacing a GM factory radio.. Once installed, the product looks good paired with an aftermarket radio in the center dash. We installed this in a 2009 Pontiac G6 paired with a Pioneer BT radio. However, getting the product installed is not a simple process. The DIC unit is not designed to fit in the DIN bracket provided. The unit is wider and deeper than can be accepted by the DIN bracket provided. To install requires the housing to be modified to fit the bracket, and modified again to fit the mounting bar in the vehicle.

Product does not work along with other head unit. Tried multiple times. Very disappointed.
