Works well as advertised

Sticky tape but in our experience does not work as advertised. First it does not hold the 17lbs as advertised. I attempted to use it to hold up an eight pound 30" speaker bar. It could not do the job. Second complaint is it is not easily removed. I had to use a razor blade to get it off glass. Reusable? I used some to stick my Roku to the TV bottom. Bought a new TV and moved the Roku to the new set. Mutilated the tape getting it off. Rinsed it as directed and let it dry. I did reuse the tape but it was difficult and didn't work well. I had to hold it for a long time but eventually it held. Do not use this on a painted surface, preferably glass or metal. I pointed out the cons, the pros are it is a two sided sticky tape that holds. We hold a Rooma floor charger in place with it, holds well when nothing else would do the job. Also we had an area rug edge that insisted on tripping people. The Rug tape designed to hold it down didn't last long, was difficult to use and failed after a few days. The Alien tape is working great. Over all I recommend it knowing its limitations.

I have had several things that I put up using Alien Tape and within 3 days they began falling off. Used various items with varying weights and sizes with the same results. 30% failure.

After seeing them advertised on television, I bought this thinking I could use them to hang pictures, since it says its removable. However, when you read the insert, it specifically states that it will rip off your paint and drywall. It says to use water to wet it but doesn’t guarantee that it won’t tear your drywall. I might try it on a wall I’m getting ready to paint anyway. It must stick pretty well, because there is a separate insert with a bunch of legal language about if you have claims — I guess for ruining things you stuck it to. Might be really handy for camping or hunting, or in emergency supplies.

Used this to adhere items which need to be hung up inside or outside.

I bought a shampoo, conditioner and body soap holder/dispenser. I have nothing but glass or tile in the shower. So I put two strips of the tape all the way across the length of the dispenser base. Squished it on as hard as I could to the glass. Waited several days before putting any weight on it. I know the three holders did not weigh over 17 pounds plus I had two strips holding it. it seem to be working for 2 days and then this morning it's on the floor of my shower and the shampoo opened up and it's empty. So it really doesn't work. It may be holds for a little while but then what good does it do if it's going to fall off the wall. This is no way the weight of a brick like they show in the advertisement. It's just fake. Also, I've used it on the bottom of chairs to keep them from slipping and that was just very minor help. When a little dust got on it it failed.

This tape is exactly what i needed for an outdoor project.

Yo uso esta cinta para pegar las orillas de mis alfombras. No la he probado con cosas muy pesadas ni lo haré, porque no quiero tomar el riesgo de que mis objetos se vayan a caer.
