Not sure how they work, but since buying them and using them, the water in the hot tub is really clearer and we change the water less. (Before you could see some oils on the top of the water) photo is one in use

Absolute crap. AVOID. They turn brown, then they disintegrate, and fall to bottom of tub. Absolute waste of money.AVOID AVOID AVOID

Schwämme entfalten sich nicht
Die vermeintlich ölabsorbierenden Schwämme werden in einer vakuumisierten Verpackung geliefert. Angeblich sollen sie sich innerhalb weniger Stunden vollständig entfalten. Das Foto zeigt die Schwämme etwa 12 Stunden nach dem Auspacken. Sie haben nicht die auf den Angebotsfotos abgebildete Blumenform eingenommen und sind in dem vorliegenden Zustand für den vorgesehenen Verwendungszweck unbrauchbar.
